Miss Ellie's won the Best Burger in Munster recently & if they gave a prize for the best chips, fish, chicken, wraps, sausages etc they would win that too in our books. What we love most about Miss Ellie's is that everything is cooked to order and is of the highest quality. They shop as local as possible and this means the produce is always fresh. The staff are brilliant always a big smile and a cheery hello for the customers & they do lovely little gestures on occasions, like St. Patrick's day they make green battered sausages and give them out to the customers, on National Burger day they do buy one get one free and it's things like this that makes here so special. They do food for parties & at a fantastic price. They even do charity days for local causes where they give the profits to whatever charity they are supporting. They are a great asset to Clonmel and we are so lucky to have such a gem in our town. Phil & Mia

Can I get a square cod, 3 battered sausage & a large chip please? ...salt & vinegar love?? STANDARD. Massive respect for the staff of this 5 star chipper, who never fail to serve up a serious feed. The food never fails to live up to expectations & is guaranteed to wash down lovely with a can of coke. Donkey Fords has been our families go to chipper for a lifetime and that has never changed - nor will it ever change. It's location is ideal and it's prices are quite affordable, or you could even say... The prices are quite.. Donkey A-Ffords-able!!!Whopper staff, whopper meals, whopper everything. Highly recommended. On a rating scale I would have to give this local takeaway a full 5 out of 5 Willie O' Dea Tashers.I write a poem for every review so here is my Donkey Fords poem:Call in for a chip, or a sausage or two, or a can of club orange, or just something to chew. It depends what you want, do you want chips, or a smile? well in Donkeys you'll get both, & it will be well worth your while. The place is fantastic, it really is nice, go get it tomorrow, don't even think twice!!!

This takeaway is unmatched for value, freshness, and taste.All items are of top quality and locally sourced too.The staff are so friendly and are happy to assist with any requests.The value is next to none and the portion sizes are so generous there is no way you will be left hungry.The last two times we stopped in here there were people after travelling from nearby towns and it was no wonder - it is so good, it is definitely worth any distance travelled.

I stopped with a bus load of U12s today at supermacs outside tip. It took 40min for our food to be ready. This outlet was not prepared for the crowds that arrived and our delay was compounded by poor sequencing of orders. Several people that ordered chicken up to 15-20min after me, were served first. Sorry to say, very poor organisation under pressure. Not good enough! Will choose a different stop on next trip :(Hi Brian, We are sorry to read of your experience.
