川内に宿泊、素泊まりだったので駅周辺で朝食を食べられるところを探したものの、喫茶店とか牛丼チェーン店が見当たらず、少し歩いたところにマックを発見。利用させていただきました。空いていてゆっくりできました。

There are a lot of places to go for Japanese curry, but there's really only one place to go for the truly delicious and authentic stuff. Not only is the basic curry and rice dish delicious, you really can't go wrong with any topping be it meat or vegetable. I recommend any of the katsu's (tejikomikatsu is my favorite) and DO NOT forget to add the katsu sauce on top. You won't regret it.Lastly, this branch in Satsumasendai is especially friendly. They have a very friendly and professional staff that is welcoming to native and non-native Japanese speakers. You'll also be given a menu in English (as well as myriad other languages). Just point to the pictures to order.
