We have visited many Sonics over the years in various states and this one is the best we've found. Service is fast, the young folks on roller skates have a pleasant and amiable demeanor, the food is always hot and fresh, and while nothing is really "gourmet" it does what it promises: satisfies the appetite in a relatively inexpensive way. Besides, you don't have to really dress for public if you don't plan to get out of the car. You can even drive there in pajamas (though I wouldn't). Their desserts outshine ice cream places by a long shot--fresh, ample plus there's a variety! We prefer their burgers and hot dogs with steamed buns and their onion rings! Their melt sandwiches are also good choices.

The entrance is nicely done in a great bight yellow and is located just off the Newark square. Inside they are baking tasty pastries and rich flavorful quiches. Some of the items appear to be made from scratch and although the mural and furnishing inside could use some attention, the kind warm service more than makes up for it. Im hoping they add some more savory breakfast sandwiches to the menu.

This tiny take-out store is brand new, but really a great addition to the neighborhood.So nice to find somewhere in this town to get Middle Eastern fast food that is made from quality ingredients. Had falafel and look forward to going through the whole menu.
