One of a kind drive-in burger, dog and root beer place. The zip burger is a loose meat sandwich with traditional melted cheese, onions, pickles and mustard. You can go BBQ or chili if you prefer. The other main choice is the hot dog with any or all toppings. They have French fries and chips. But you have to get the iced cold root beer with or without the "float". This place is a Columbia tradition and visited by all returning alumni during reunion season. We always take our out of town guests to introduce them to the zip burger and root beer and they request to go back!It closes for the winter and we all eagerly await their opening in the spring.

We stopped here while on the road. Jersey Mike's is one of our favorite chain sub places. Bread was fresh and I love how they slice meats and cheeses fresh. Service was fast and friendly.

So Carlitos is branded as a Mexican restaurant, and you'll find your typical street tacos, burritos, etc. However, the Peruvian menu items are absolutely the best. We got a beef dish, and now we go back at least once a week. Staff is super friendly. They are getting ready to open a restaurant south of town as well.
