Got a quick lunch at the Subway in the Mall . You can switch from a Sub to a Salad for the same price , or get more meat for a small fee .Service was friendly and fast but efficient. Area was Clean too . Love it !!

I've lived in Cincinnati for 50 years, I've been eating Cincinnati Style Chili as long as I can Remember, here are my favorites, 2-5 ways, Empress is the best, with Skyline 2nd, Cheese Coneys, Skyline is the Best because their Dogs & Buns are the best, Skyline has an awesome Chilito, and their Black Beans are also excellent, and they have the best fries, if I go to Gold star I only get their Burgers and only if I'm with friends who like the place, I DO NOT, I think their chili just is too spicy and the taste is not for me, just dont like it, Give me Emrpess & Skyline allday, anyday, anytime, Empress also has Excellent Double Deckers,

We enjoy the "cook it in plain site" and the fries are fabulous! My husband enjoys munching on the peanuts while he waits for the order (never a long wait!). I really enjoy the one in Rookwood but the Eastgate location is close by us. Eastgate has the music so loud you have to shout to converse!

I need to clarify that this review is for the new location in MILFORD OH not Amelia. Anyway my first experience here was not a good one. Ordered 2 burgers and fries to go and when I got Home they shorted me a burger (and you guys want $15 / hour?!). My wife's Burger was overcooked, dried out and devoid of flavor. Stick with Steak and Shake...they not only cost less their burgers are moist and juicy.

Chili must be more coney-like. It seemed really mushy and lacked flavor. I even added hot sauce, salt, and sugar. I like cheese a lot but this was almost too much. I guess it is not what I am used. I like trying something new but this didn't do it for me. Not sure if Goldstar chili would be any different or satisfy me any better. I like tomatoes in my chili and didn't notice any in this. On the upside, service was very friendly. Son ate his up though. Just too different for me.

We love Firehouse Subs at our house. We really like the menu options and the atmosphere. We like the other Firehouse locations a bit better. I am not sure why, maybe it is the location or the availability of staff that they have due to the area.

They actually do seem to fulfill their ad claims of fresh food. Great selection and good prices. THey even have a value menu where I can eat (even in today's economy!) for about $3.00! Always try to find a Wendys when i am out and about.
