Such a beautiful place to eat and relax with friends. Right next to the water and beautiful boulders and scenery. The menu is excellent value and really wonderful tasty food. You have a choice of 1, 2, or 3 courses. The food is cooked fresh and incredibly delicious. It's well hidden away from the road but well worth going to find it. We stayed over for a night and had supper there. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable and friendly. There is nothing I could com plain about. But I want to add that the hotel is also a great deal. The rooms are sufficiently spacious, the bathroom clean and ofmamgoodmsize. Ther is air con, the bed is nice and firm. If you have to stay in THouars on your way to another destination, this is a must stip!

Had lunch here today. Had the menu du jour which was very good.It was a lovely sunny day so were able to sit outside. Very busy. Staff were kind and attentive. There was also a carte and other menus, good choice. We tried the restaurant on recommendation of a friend, and it was even better than we'd hoped. It's a very clean modern setting with a friendly welcome, the tiniest smattering of English and a very French approach to an evening's dining. Don't expect to be in and out in time to see a show, but relax, savour the flavours and presentation of the excellent good. Easy on street parking outside and a variety of menus to fit appetite and budget. Some days there's a lunch menu and a cheaper bistro menu on quiet days of the week. Check online for details.

After a long very hot day cycling our chambre d'hotes recommended this place. They were spot on. Good food, well cooked and really helpful service (we had four refills of the water carafe to the waitress's ongoing amusement). Restaurant was reasonably busy for mid-week but did not feel crowded or noisy.If I lived in Thouars I'd be happy to eat here often.
