Great menu for a week day, we checked it out online. Definitely worth it from starters to desserts!Avoid inner city and go there without hesitation!

Just happened to choose this restaurant by chance as it looked very cosy and busy. Menu is completely in French and we managed to get by with our very limited language skills. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. I had the coquelet fermier which turned out to be the most delicious roast chicken Iâve ever eaten, tarragon, garlic, onion just superb and bursting with flavour with every mouthful. The french fries were also delicious especially with the intensely garlic aioli and bernaise sauce. My partner had the suckling pig and fresh vegetables of the day - how they can make cauliflower taste that good is pure alchemy. Just perfection in every way.

Visited Annecy for the weekend as birthday treat and was looking for some French cuisine away from the usual tourist locations. This restaurant ticked all the boxes. Wonderful service and the food was simply amazing. Due care and attention to presentation as well carefully balanced flavours that delight the palate. I had the green gazpacho to start which for me was the highlight delicately finished with a Granny Smith foam it was delicious. Followed by cervices again balanced with baby beets. Ending with a semifreedo in a lovely aloe vera and mustard seed coulis. Brilliant all round - compliments to the chef. A truly wonderful dining experience.

The place is small yet we were not seated unduly close to other tables and acoustics were alright. The menus offered some but limited choices. But the kitchen was flexible in avoiding ingredients likely to be problematic. Though not especially innovative the chef achieved high standards at each of our four courses plus amuse bouches and additional pleasures.Overall an excellent, good value dinner.

Restaurant Une Autre Histoire is open for Tuesday diner and from Wensday to Saturday for lunch and diner. Thanks
Again, an absolutely superb meal at Une Autre Histoire. We could not fault it. From the moment of entering the restaurant, the experience is wonderful. Exciting and delicious meals, good wine list, very fast and still friendly service, attention to detail. Highly recommend in a town of good restaurants - this is superb.

We went to Tête de Cochon after reading the reviews on here.Well, everything we had read was spot on! From the amazing service all the way to amazing food we were not disappointed at all. Even the organic white beer was out of this world.

Settled since 1997, Sophie and Patrice CAVORET knew how to make of this place a well known greedy place of the Annéciens. Proud of their experience in gourmet restaurants, they knew how to adapt this knowledge to their atmosphere "Bistro". Sophie welcomes
Went for a visit. Food quality is average, whilst price way too high. Scallops as starter were not up to expectations.

Having read other reviews I wanted to make a reservation for the next evening (Tuesday) but found that the restaurant does not open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. We went along early that (Monday) evening and managed to get the only free table. All of the other diners sounded French and possibly locals. It is run by a couple; he cooks and his partner looks after front of house. We had a wonderful evening, great food and wine with truly excellent service. Our hostess took time to explain each dish and offer advice on the wines that we were considering. Having made a choice, she offered to change the wine for another if we did not like it - we loved it.

We went to this restaurant after reading the reviews for Annecy. The whole ambiance of the restaurant was superb. The waitresses were very polite, the champagne and the wine were excellent and the food was utterly gorgeous. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Not much more than a "hole-in-the-wall" type of place in the historic old town. We enjoyed our last visit so returned there. The menu is unchanged, the dishes pretty much the same, only the prices have changed - upwards! The room is very cramped but this is part of the charm - don't expecy privacy or comfort. Wines are served by the glass but are expensive. My saddle of lamb at 24 euro was overcooked. Chef always does pan roasted potatoes, but this time they were bereft of flavour (they used to be cooked with lardons, garlic and rosemary, but are now just plain). Expect to pay around 120 euros for 2 including wines. But this IS Touristville!
