Great coffee and even greater cakes. This cafe is a true haven.The cakes are amazing. I had raspberry meringue roll and my husband had banana cheesecake. Both were wonderful and did I mention that the coffee was terrific?

Awesome little cafe in the middle of Ubud. Beautiful decor inspired by French design. Menu has a lot of Westernised options and a sneaky little Indonesian section. We went for the Monyet platter to share, the Rendang and Coconut Curry as mains and were more than satisfied. Nothing too spicy and portion sizes were perfect, if anything a little to big. Drinks were made promptly and tasted nice and fresh, and the view is just what you need to escape from the hustle and bustle of the Ubud streets.

Make a reservation ASAP. Private Cocoons fill up fast. Had the 9 course menu and every bite was exquisite. What I loved was that they let my 12 yo son order ala carte while my wife and I enjoyed the 9 course fixed dinner. Here in the States they will not allow and everyone at table must do the fixed price menu. Such a bargain at $80 each. Came here after TripAdvisor reviews and ratings are rightly justified. Ambience was really nice and chilled out. Menu was very elaborate ranging from local Indonesian food to the Western continental food to Indian curries. We tried their chicken curry which was really tasty and full of flavours. pricing seems to be on a slightly higher side as compared to other restaurants in Ubud, but I would say it still worth it. I would recommend this place for dinner

This had everything you want for an Italian restaurant, sensational food, friendly service and great bar selection. The decor is fantastic too. The fettuccine Bolognese was out of this world all the taste and texture of a great Italian meal. I also had the pleasure of the spicy sausage pizza that lived up to its name, the home-made spicy sausage really hit the spot. The dirty martini was perfect too. There was not one thing to complain about. If your looking for a fantastic Italian meal that is very reasonable in price, look no further. I wish I could give it more stars it was that nice. Just had our best Bali restaurant experience at Swept Away at the Samaya Ubud. The setting down by the river, the excellent staff and food to die for make this a must not miss experience if you come to Ubud. It is a bit out of the way from town but worth the taxi ride.
