What a lovely place. Visited with Mrs Smith and two daughters and boyfriends for dinner. Friendly and attentive staff delivered conspicuously good service and the food was delicious. We sat outside on a warm evening and had a lovely time. Bill was just under £500 for 6 people having 3 courses a la carte, 3 nice bottles of wine and kir royals to start. Highly recommend.

It was a hot July afternoon and had an early dinner. The staff were super friendly and had great communication without speaking English. The local wines were great. We had a quick bite in mind and ended up staying there for hours. Highly recommended

You walk downstairs into an authentically beautiful but modern 'cave'. It is simple and beautifully decorated with nice jazz music playing in the background. Wonderful date spot or nice family outing, but on the quieter side so I wouldn't recommend for small, loud children. We went in December so the outdoor terrace was closed, but looked lovely!

Thanks to Trip Advisor, we chose this little restaurant for lunch after visiting nearby Vaugines, a delightful wee village. A very friendly welcome from Mathieu and a pleasant atmophere, not too noisy despite being nearly full. Jolly decor. A choice of daily specials or the regular menu, so we ate off the blackboard and were more than delighted. The food was properly cooked, but also beautifully presented, really whetting the appetite. Probably the best meal of our holiday (we have one more to go). We would go again in a flash.

Discovered this restaurant by Google search. Noted the high rating, we decided to give it a try. There were free car parking spaces along the adjacent streets. Once arrived the restaurant, the staff greeted us and arranged a table. As soon as he heard I spoke English instead of French, he used bilingual to communicate with us. How attentive and smart gaining our very good impression. We ordered a 5-course dinner at the price of â¬41 each. It came with a bowl of grape juice and basil, avocado and smoke fish plus a fried curry and wasabi meatball. Very creative and flavorful. Nice job. The homemade gnocchi was exceptional! It paired with homemade tomato sauce and parmigiano crisps. We loved the taste. Two main dishes, one trout with roasted Japanese tea foam and onion crisps, the other was veal with mushrooms. Again, tasty. Then, followed by a cheese plate and caramelised apricot with rosemary ice-cream and chocolate sable to bring the meal a happy ending.The portion size was very generous. Overall food quality and services exceeded our expectations.The dinner was extremely valued for money. Highly recommended.

This Michelin 1star restaurant is excellent. Very good, seasonal cuisine with a Chef and team that really know what they are doing. Creative with flavors that worked together. The amuse* particularly was like your tongue throwing a party for your mouth! --Lovely atmosphere, elegant but casual and not stuffy at all. Service was the perfect balance of professional and warm but not wanting or needing to be your best friend. One of the best overall lunches I've had in a long time! We'll be back.*Amuse: Cream/foam of volaille with truffle and pumpkin seeds, and a surprise of al dente fresh shelled peas at the bottom of the cup. I could have had another one easily! If you are visiting the Vaucluse region of France -- e.g. Roussillon, Menerbes, Gordes, etc. -- don't miss the excellent restaurants in Goult, a smaller hilltop French town nearby. Goult is not a 'tourist village' but has some excellent restaurants. We enjoyed Le Bartaville on our last trip. Call ahead for reservations; this is popular spot for very good reasons! (We booked the last table in October, for example - well past the 'tourist' season.) The food was excellent. Let me say that again, "Excellent!" They were very friendly too, despite our limited French. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect -- ancient stone arches with a warm atmosphere. In the summer they also have tables on the walk-street outside, under umbrellas.In short, La Bartavelle is definitely worth the drive from wherever you are staying in the Vaucluse. Park in the small Goult town square; La Bartavelle is a <5 minute walk. And call ahead for that reservation! Mark and Nadine Hays

We code the restaurant after reading the good reviews and werenât disappointed.We experienced a warm welcome and amazing service. The two ladies in charge were flexible in the ingredients of the dishes (allergies and things we dislike), the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and all of this left us with great experience.

Great restaurant, everything is made fresh. We had the foie gras and the salmon with leeks for appetizer, and amazing sea scallops cooked to perfection. A pleasant small hotel with excellent restaurant in quiet countryside. We were attracted to this hotel by the nationwide Tous Au Restaurant offer as part of the Gastronomic weekend. The meal was very good and was served under the shade of of a large wisteria. An amuse bouche was followed by a tasty foire gras with sweet dark confiture de olive, a nice combination. The main was a delicious fillet of Dorade with girolle mushrooms followed by a complex dessert of chocolate and ice cream. Even though it was a special offer I thought the menu price at 45 euros was a bit on the high side for a normal meal. Service was friendly and cheerful.
