I went to l'Instant Braisé having read good reviews on TA, and I was not let down. On a Thursday night it was not crowded, and service was good, and very friendly. I had the half chicken label rouge (they have another one which is a bit more expensive that is "bio" but Label Rouge for me is a sign of quality, so I want for that one, with vegetables of the season. All good. Chicken was not fatty or "soft" like the battery chickens one can find elsewhere, and had good flavour. Was served with sauce on the side. Will return to try the duck which looked good at neighbouring table.

Restaurant familial proposant principalement du poisson mais pas que... Pizzas, pâtes, viandes. Ouvert 7j/7 vous pourrez y manger en terrasse ainsi quâà lâétage avec une magnifique vue sur le Port de lâEstaque.
Excellent sea faring faire. It is delicious and a more of a traditional meal. This area is Influenced by the Italians. Good fish, good size portions.. Lovely little place with excellent service. The waiter spoke very little English... However the language of food is universal... Merci Daniel le Chauve

WWe had a nice variety of appetizers in an open buffet format then sat for the main dish which was monkfish! You have to love fish in order to like this one with safran sauce and Garlic mayonaise! But the "ambience" is really cool. Not many taxis know the name of the restaurant so you have to know the exact address and number 34. ..

Visitors to Le'Estaque are spoiled for choice even out of season; this one offered atmosphere as well as generous helpings. As soon as we asked for menus, we were bombarded with advice from fellow-diners, who seemed to be local and regular customers. The salads were more than enough to satisfy, and mine was suitably local, even if I couldn't identify all the varieties of seafood on the high-piled plate.

Explored some of the Blue Coast and stopped in Carry-le-Rouet for a light lunch on our way to Martigues. This little cafe/brasserie fit the bill perfectly. We were four, and the menu is extensive. We were spoiled for choice and could have had a more extensive meal had we wanted. We settled for salads, omelette and savoury crepe, draft beers. Friends also enjoyed cafe gourmand. There are a couple of photos of the menus already in the photos above.Reasonably priced, friendly and efficient service.

We used to eat at La Cadiere with my late father on our way to Marseille-Marignane airport and were delighted to find that, 10 to 20 years later, it has kept the same high quality of food and service. We arrived at 12.15 on a Thursday lunchtime and by 13.00 the place was packed! Couldn't fault it and it was a great way to end our trip on a high note.

We stopped off for lunch here before catching our plane from Marseille airport (Marignane) which is about 5km away.Unpretentious, good food at a decent price. Very good portion size. Staff were helpful in dealing with a food allergy, as they could ask the chef who cooks everything in house, including a lovely creme brulée. We sat inside as the terrace was a little noisy.

Spent a few hours here last weekend. The menu is fairly extensive, but we wanted to pig out on meats, cheese, bread and wine..keeping it simple. Oh, and fries. All very good..#Staff are very friendly.Well worth escaping Marseille for, with Niolon just a 20 mins train ride from the city. It's a lovely little bay with a handful of places to eat, but La Pergola was definitely the most inviting.
