Small restaurant but great service and delicious cuisine. Burgers or crepes, so no haute cuisine here, but really good food! You have to try the ice-cream, they have a fantastic artisanal supplier. Super friendly waitresses, thinking how to serve us even better as she was looking for an alternative drink to suit my wife. On top of that a very competitive pricing. Nothing negative to mention. Just don’t forget to reserve .

As has been commented before not many British reviews for this first class cafe style restaurant. Simple straightforward menu with seafood, crepes, salads, omelettes, and a daily meat dish. Lots of excellent desserts and good beer, wine and cider. It is very unpretentious but a proper restaurant style eating experience. The staff are very friendly indeed and made us very welcome. There are no reservations taken and it was open most lunchtimes and a couple of evenings when we were here in the first week of September. We went twice and the first time we had to wait a few minutes and the second time we were welcomed like long lost friends. Two courses, drinks and coffee came to about 55 euros so no complaints there either. The food is simple but well prepared and the whole place has an air of efficiency about it. We arrived about 1.00pm on each occasion and there was no rush for us to leave at the end of service. Many locals, a few German guests and perhaps we were the only Brits! They speak enough English to help out and as often happens there is a slightly amusing English menu! Make sure this is on your schedule if in this area - you will not be disappointed. It is bit out of the way but follow the signs to St Cady from Belz and enjoy the beautiful setting and a short stroll afterwards.

After some years of struggling La Chaloupe is back on track. A new friendly owner who's resembling Zorba but is definitely not Greek has taken up the level. Good pizza & some very nice menus, fish & crustacés, plateaus fruits-de-mer and what have you. We're really happy to eat here and felt most welcome.

Service was excellent as was the food. This was our second visit to this delightful venue. Since our last visit, the restaurant has added a wooden terrace. It's off the beaten track but well worth making the effort to find. We sat on the terrace as we had our dogs with us and, although it was windy, the glass railings provided shelter. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully appointed and gives a fine dining experience. It's immaculate. The owners are a young couple and are enthusiastic and very friendly. We had a seafood platter which was copious and beautifully presented.

Great oasis in a seaside town on a sunny Wednesday in August. Situated a few minutes from the front /harbourside and the circus which was paying a visit, this atmospheric cafe/ bar restaurant was set back from the main street. Slightly shabby chic and very friendly, suited the four of us well for lunch. Plates consisted of 2 salade kig yuard, 1 salade seguin and for me (not being a cheese lover ) being by the seaside it had to be a local dish of delicious fresh moules mariniere. Portions were copious but two of us managed freshly made creme brulee. Drinks consisted of sirop a l'eau, limonade, a glass of the local armoric cidre and tea. Excellent value at 52euros.(Also billed as 341 francs!) Lovely friendly family run and an added bonus was that the second creme brulee was not charged for as the charming lady proprietor considered it too small a portion.

Went in for dinner, ordered seafood casserole and steak with potatoes, red house wine and creme brûlée for dessert. Service was efficient, free wifi, food was good and well portion, wine was good, dessert was delicious. Seafood casserole was a bit salty to my liking, also too many mushy mussels, would prefer a bit more fish and prawn that gave more layers and texture to the taste. Cream brûlée was huge in portion and very delicious. Overall it was a good restaurant.

This place was taken over by new owners early 2015 and completely re-styled into a very smart interior with imaginative décor, marine style. The charming new owners call it "cuisine creative" and it certainly is. Starters of Moules Farcies were delicious with a subtle taste of spicyness. Main course of Gratin de St Jacques was delicious. Good wine list, most of it available in pichet 50cl. although we were eating a la carte, there was a set menu around 13 Euros which looked quite appetising. In short a very pleasant experience and a place to be highly recommended.
