Celje (pronounced [ˈtsɛːljɛ] ( listen)) is the third-largest town in Slovenia. It is a regional center of the traditional Slovenian region of Styria and the administrative seat of the City Municipality of Celje (Slovene: Mestna občina Celje). The town of Celje is located below Upper Celje Castle (407 m or 1,335 ft) at the confluence of the Savinja, Hudinja, Ložnica, and Voglajna rivers in the lower Savinja Valley, and at the crossing of the roads connecting Ljubljana, Maribor, Velenje, and the Central Sava Valley. It lies 238 m (781 ft) above mean sea level (MSL).

the best restaurant in Celja . I can say that every time when I enjoy the meal in pizzeria oliva i was more then just satisfied everything it's perfect. the stuff in oliva it's really helpful and polite i really like everyone of them because they act like really family restaurant and i feel really relax and satisfied with them ! thank you everyone and stay just like you are !!!

We visited this place with the family, welcome service, very delicious mushroom soup,veal medallion was perfect! Also there were very good veal liver and chicken breast. Very affordable prices. All the locals are eating there. Recommending a lot! The place is near the sport complex,gate 1.

After being here several times before, i was really positively surprised by their renonovated menu. Along with grill meat, they offer also steaks and octopus. I recommend it!

Even if rated "average", it doesn't mean average on all fields. Design and ambient is great, also food is great. Only minus was service (nice, but without knowledge about food, wine, payment options...), also pushing us to finish soon, as "they have to work next day". P.S.: we also had to work next day, but we didn't see each other (group of 16 people) for almost a whole year...Still, if in Celje, I recommend to visit and have a (short) lunch.

Where to start!I loved this restaurant so so much. From the entrance where you feel like you are entering a medieval castle with the rose bushes everywhere and grand staircase to the beautifully decorated restaurant, the gorgeous terrace overlooking Celje castle, the whole place transports you to a magical place that's even before you taste the mind blowing food. The food is traditional slovenian with a modern twist. It's an experience like no other. The food is made with such love, you can feel it in every bite. The service is impeccable as well.Must say this is one of the most memorable restaurants I have ever been. It ticks all the boxes and I give it 10/10 in every single aspect. The husband had to literally drag me out of there, if it was up to me I'd stay there forever!Cant wait to go back

In the city center, nice hotel with big coffee place/restaurant. Good desserts, good coffee, big breakfasts (or in the coffee shop, or in the hotel dinning room (10 EUR for non-hotel guests). Didn't use the rooms, but they should be nice.

A nice place in Celje, me and three other girl friends used to like going there from time to time. This time the food was below average, with the exception of the dessert, even if served on really fancy plates. We were disappointed by the service, they did not approach without being called, although they weren't so busy. Then, without a question if we perhaps wanted to order anything else, we were asked to pay the bill. And a short time later, all the lights except the one at the exit went out. No one said a Word to us. O, they're closing down, we thought, humbly got up and left, as did another company of friends who have only finished their meal not long ago. It was half past eleven, Fridays night. Later I checked the opening times online and it says until midnight on Fridays. They could at least say a Word, couldn't they?Dear guests,thank you very much for taking your time and sharing your personal experience with us.We are fully aware, how important is the time, that you decide to spend with your loved ones, accompanied by a lovely meal. Professional and friendly staff. It is clean restaurant, but portions are really too big. Sometimes is too much of food, maybe for the hunger ones. They have good selection of beers, vine cart is not so good. For business meeting is too noisy. Good selection of sweets, cakes are home made, pizza is the best choice.

My boyfriend and I were there to try burgers. We decided to go with the cheapest one for 6,90⬠(I don't exactly remember the name) as the components looked like the ones for the usual burger.We got it fast (15-20 mins for crowded restaurant is normal). Brugers were ordered rare and medium, which we both got. Meat is really delicious. Improvements could be made in bread (potato bread for example), the rest was fine.Hi Alja, thanks for leaving a review! We appreciate it. You must be talking about Oscar Bilby burger. We were really excited when we introduced our new and improved burgers earlier this year. We even added some new flavors with great feedback! We would love to see you again soon.P.S.
