My experience there was not amazing, I took a fish, I felt no emotion when eating it, it was not bad but no good... people there are nice, the dining room was like the dishes : average... in the direct trend of the offer of food in Geneva... a little bit tasteless

This is a traditional small restaurant as we like them. Short menu but well-treated good products served with a modern twist. Service is efficient. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location is in a quiet street slightly off the main restaurant areas. Extremely busy for lunch but more quiet in the evening. Definitely an excellent address for a quiet and good dinner.

Had a pleasant time here. We were walk ins and they made room for us. But the restaurant was very full for a Tuesday night. Good sign. Meals were interesting and generous. Nicely creative. You won't leave hungry or bored.Wait staff were very accommodating and professional.

This is a nice place where it is easy to have some good time. The menu is short, modern and well balanced and the food is simply good. Good products, nice presentation, pleasant taste. Nothing extraordinary but the pleasure is here. Location is not the best, although reasonably central it is on a high traffic street, but once inside that is no longer a problem. Went here for lunch in the "chasse" (game") season. The restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, but is in fact a very nice, quaint bistro with lots of authentic details and bric-a-brac (notice the collection of classic hairdryers and soap dispensers in the bathroom!). Service is quick and friendly even though the restaurant was completely full. Portions are generous, but you can take away if you don't finish. We had two excellent game dishes, hare casserole with onions & bacon and deer with chocolate sauce and all the traditional game side dishes: chestnuts, spätzli, red cabbage and pumpkin purée. Desserts (crème brulée and amaretti mousse) OK but not remarkable. Impressive wine list and good choice of wine by the glass; we had the Chasselas, Gamay and Zweigelt which were all very good.If you feel like a good honest plate of food in a warm atmosphere (and willing to pay a bit more for quality), do not hesitate to book a table here.

Been there several times for business lunch and dinner. Always good (pricey) food, ok service. Been today again for an executive lunch with a very expensive check, before the waiter runs after you in the street because he forgot 3 limoncelo on it ... what a lack of courtesy. Will not go again.

We had lunch at Laz Nillo. The chef who works in service is very friendly and even offered us the espresso. The food is typical French: I had the entrecôte Parisienne with salad and fries, my friend the risotto. The food was very good!Dear Jamesfood,We thank you for your visit and your post. We went for a dinner. This is a Michelin star restaurant. Though the prices are on higher side, itâs worth every penny spent. Everything from the appetisers to entree and dessert are cooked to perfection. The food is accompanied by a great selection of wines. Tried baby squids and lobster tail. Both were flavourful and delicious. Thank you a lot for your visit and your very nice comment. We are glad that you enjoyed spending time at our restaurant. This restaurant, very close to Plainpalais in Geneva, is probably the best Portuguese restaurant in town. Fishes, clams and octopus are its specialty along with a varied selection of Portuguese wines. The place is run by a family who have been running it since 1973 and the focus is on really fresh fish.It is usually not noisy, the tables are not crowded together as in many Geneva restaurants and one can have a good conversation while eating.Lots of parking is available either at the Plainpalais or Unimail parkings which are close.The prices are a little high but the quality of the food, the friendly and attentive service and the decor makes it worth the price.
