Not my first time at a Black Bear Diner. Service was fine and the food was what we expect from Black Bear. However, although there was no wait, there were empty tables, AND we were celebrating a graduation, we were asked to move because they had a group of 17 and needed the table. Decided to leave both the full cup of coffee and the restaurant behind. They also asked another small family to move. I have never had such a thing happen before, and I frankly find it unacceptable. Breakfast for three at $52 plus tip is not cheap; you finish serving the customers you have before you bring in new ones. Never again Black Bear anywhere!

Big Daddy's Diner

We always try to support locally owned businesses when we travel and Big Daddy’s did not disappoint! The blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries were so good!!! The only negative and it’s not really a true negative is that the huevos rancheros had too many beans. The service was excellent and the regular locals were fun! We would definitely eat there again!

Awesome breakfast for all 9 of us. I had the blackened eggs Beni skillet. Loved the potatoes instead of the muffins!! All good came out hot. And tasty. Including the huge French toast with bananas and Carmel. Great service. Great food. My only suggestion is to get more large tables Go if you can!!

Tubby's Restaurant

Reviewed By LaRaeMeadows

We went to Tubby's twice and both times our experience did not meet our expectations. The first time we ordered a waffle and omelet with coffee. We were there alone with no other guests. We were told we could not have our breakfast for a while because the milk truck had not yet come and they had no milk. It is within 2 miles of grocery stores and in a complex with a convenience store and a gas station store. Getting milk would have taken less five minutes and could have happened long before we arrived. They simply did not want to solve the problem. After a very long wait, our food came out cold. Just stone cold. We complained, got a sorry but ended up having to pay for cold, long awaited food. The next time we went, we ordered eggs with hash browns and pancakes. Holy god, our pancakes were greasy. Pancakes with grease. Ew. The coffee on both visits tasted like it was put through the same grinds 3 times. We had different servers each time. Both of the servers were perfectly fine. Neither offered us a warm experience. We were sick after both visits. No. Just no.
