As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 13,409, reflecting an increase of 215 (+1.6%) from the 13,194 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 600 (-4.3%) from the 13,794 counted in the 1990 Census. The township is named for William Penn. The township includes the state's westernmost point.

While the food portions were more than generous and quite tasty, my favorite part of our visit to this restaurant was the customer service. Our waitress was adorable, extremely helpful, and attentive, but meeting and chatting with Mr. Chobani was definitely the highlight. He is an extremely gregarious host! We loved talking to him; he was very kind and even showed us pictures of his children! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Driving from New Haven to DC on a Sunday, I decided to follow suggested routines from Waze and found myself taking a long and ridiculous detour on back ro as ss from Exit 3 on the NJ Turnpike to the Delaware bridge. But it had one advantage, as it ran me past this authentic old diner a couple of miles north of the bridge. There were LOTS of regulars and the wait staff were super. My eggs over easy were fine; the rye toast was a bit over-done and the bacon was undercooked, but I ended up full and satisfied having eaten just over half of what I'd been served. In the end a satisfying lunch that left the usual rest area options in the dust.

Stopped for a quick breakfast on the way to Dover. Inside is old and dumpy. Menus were dirty. My husband ordered the hungry man breakfast with tea. The tea water was cold. Couldn't get the waiters attention so a waitress passed by and microwaved it. Everything on the hungry man breakfast was cold. It was like the breakfast items were pre-made and sitting under a light. There were many options in the area....I wish we would have gone somewhere else.
