Went here it is in an industrial park. A Little further down the road they have a bigger one more of a restaurant than a diner. But we went to this one as we loved it last time. This time I got Portuguese French toast. You can get 3 pieces, 2 or 1. I chose 2. I never realized how huge the slices were and would have gotten two if I had known. Unfortunately The waitress claimed it was busy and that is why she did not come over to me to ask how our food was. I was a waitress for many years and you don't make excuses like that. When she came way after I stopped eating it as it was lacking something. I asked her besides eggs what is in the batter? She said vanilla and milk. I only tasted egg and nothing else it was pretty blah. I think the cook may have forgotten the vanilla and or the milk. I only ate 1/4 of one of the pieces as I was hungry of the two pieces. She did ask if I wanted anything else. I said no cause my Husband was all done with his breakfast and it was a long time after we had gotten out meals. She did take my meal off except for the bacon & tea that I ate and drank .

It's exactly a diner experience. The food was great and reasonably priced. They crisped my bacon and hash browns for me. Was able to order side of grilled onions. Kids had strawberry and chocolate milk. Pancakes were large. Had real maple syrup. Staff was awesome.

Great breakfast, large servings. Short stack pancakes (2) and waffle, plus sausage patties and home fries - more than the two of us could finish, and good! Big mugs of coffee and hot chocolate. In a small old house with the first floor converted to a diner, with grille, kitchen, counter with stools, and tables. And every table filled and a waiting line on the Saturday AM we were there. Old style charm, no chain-restaurant feeling here. Only open for breakfast and lunch, with takeout available.

This is a quaint, diner-esque restaurant that is busy, efficient and friendly with really great cuisine. We enjoyed listening to the locals chatter and those NH accents are charming. We felt welcomed and they enjoyed our Southern phrases !Could probably use a little paint and polish but hey, it's a busy place that the priority is service and a great meal. I'm sure the kitchen stays on it's toes. We had breakfast here one morning and the service was excellent....Our waitstaff refilled our coffee without being flagged down and our meals were piping hot and excellent. The menu is vast and very affordable. Parking is free down on Dubuque St. so please stop in and enjoy your meal. Truly delicious !

Traveling from Vermont to Maine, 4 hungry people stopped in. TripAdvisor had a good rating and review for Rita Maes. We were quite happy with everything. The surprise was no mention of the Irish Coffee. Blanche and the entire restaurant was very friendly and kept my cup full. I recommend.

Our group from New York State were staying in Concord to take in some of the political primary "show." Of course, that mean a pilgrimage to the Red Arrow Diner, frequented by so many hand-shaking politicians. Well, there were none there when we visited it, but we had a wonderful breakfast. Our waitress was superlative, I almost made it all the way through my gigantic, delicious Farmer's Omelette. And.... I sat in the booth with the Paul Newman [was here] plaque!
