Really, does anyone need to review Subway any more? It's a predictable pretty fresh bun with predictable sliced meats and cheese of less-than-deli quality, and a salad cart of toppings. The only questions really are 1. toasted? 2. with or without drink + chips 3. should I try the special doo-dad meal? When you need cheap bulk, go to Subway and ask for the $5 sub.
They have great lasagna--get a pan and have a feast at home. The pizza and subs are okay.
I ordered 3 foot long subs and the manager had a fit! She told me that I needed to order online instead of in the store, they were to busy to make an order like this. She was loud, obnoxious and felt the need to do the other employees jobs for them. Instead of waiting on customers which were lining up, she went over to the cashier to help a customer who wanted a large drink and offered to her that if she gets a certain container she can get refills for .99. Then she took over the register and checked out the customer and then had problems running the credit card. She tried to upsale every customer, if they wanted a 6â she tried hard to make them get a 12â. When she finally got to me and saw that there was a line because of her poor priorities and management style, she flipped out hearing that I needed 3 sandwiches. While she was making the sandwiches she continually apologized to the customers for the wait since she had a large order. I have never ever had a manager at any Subway complain about an order. The customers that were in line behind me saw that she took over the cashiers job instead of waiting on customers and rolled their eyes at her tactics when she started apologizing to people for the wait. This woman should not be a manager, she was very unprofessional, rude, and does not know what true customer service is. Trying to upsale every customer is not customer service. Nobody wants to be badgered when they go into a restaurant. Every manager I have encountered at any other subway just gets the job done with a smile, not this one! I asked the cashier if the woman was a manager and she rolled her eyes and said, âunfortunately, yesâ. I felt bad for the cashier, it is not fun working with an overbearing person. I have not been back since.
