O Kariboo

Stopped for a bite of late lunch, but were asked to order before they would allow us to use the facilities, which we thought to be very strange. That said, when the food arrived, everything was extremely tasty and good value.

Having a family member that requires gluten free options means looking a little more often below the surface - this place was just fantastic. Great cakes for morning breakfast, and awesome Buddha bowls of healthy, tasty, gluten free goodness for lunch (there is more beyond that too!). Well done Wild Beets team!

L'Ancolie

An excellent restaurant a short distance outside the ski resort of Flaine. Free transport in winter season. Pizzas delivery. Local specialities and gastronomic food . Amazing cocktails and excellent wine list. Pleasant service friendly staff. Open on wint

This place is a bit pricier than most in this resort. The quality of the food is good and the service friendly. Nice to be able to have some of the Savoy specialities by yourself for a 3€ supplement, while often restaurants insist you order them for at least 2 people.

Au Pre d'Oscar

Dropped in here a couple of times in the past week for lunch, drinks and so on as one of our party was a beginner. Despite the big Carte Bleu sign on the door as you enter the bar ONLY takes cash. You're not allowed upstairs by some moron member of staff if you have only bought your drinks: you need to buy your food AND your drinks before you are allowed to go up there. The food is terrible, queue moves very slowly and they are operating under the belief that most people have no choice. This is a bad business model. There are some wonderful restaurants on the mountains here: if you can ski out of the debutantes area, go find one of the others and don't spend any money here. In a worst case scenario go back down the lift and eat at Tiffany's/Dear Stevescnt, thank you for your constructive reward. We are sorry to read that your stay in our restaurant was not up to your expectations. During winter, it's sometimes quiet difficult to manage all the skiers, we are trying to do a turn over between the people who have plate to eat and the one waiting. That's why, we cannot give you a seat before you choose your food. It's better to come before or after the 12:00 am lunch time. We hope to see you again this winter for a new experience, Best regardOscar's team
