The town is famous for its volcanic lake (Lago di Bracciano or "Sabatino", the eighth largest lake in Italy) and for a particularly well-preserved medieval castle Castello Orsini-Odescalchi. We spent 90 days in Bracciano and believe they probably have the nicest and freshest looking Porchetta available. In addition this is a very quaint looking restaurant with many offerings. Centrally located just across the entrance to the castle. Very friendly staff. Make sure you take a peek at the "cave" entrance to the rear of the kitchen.

There is a vast selection of amazing food to choose from so we decided on the degustation plate to try them all. We received friendly & personalised service with an explanation of the dozen or so tasty morsels we were about to devour. Included were meat, fish & vegetarian options, all fresh & delicious but I particularly enjoyed the caponata. Great wine list available & we had the Tojo white wine which was a perfect match with the food. The northern Italy chocolate cake is a must for dessert, light but very tasty. Un giorno di sole di aprile e dopo il mare di Santa severa un pranzo da Fabrizio in un atmosfera accogliente e spaziosa vicino al centro per un tranquillo pranzo con prodotti freschi, e di qualità , un pittone di spaghetti cozze e vongole, e piatti "piccoli" per i bambini... Buoni come sempre gli spaghetti ottime le tagliatelle con il ragù, saporito e abbondante l'hamburger, delicati per quanto possibile i peperoni. Il conto 48,4 per 2 primi adulti 2 primi bambini, 1 contorno misto di verdure, 1 hamburger 1 bottiglia di acqua, 1/4 di vino, 1 dolce tiramisù, 2 caffè. Ottimo e abbondante

Bravissimi in cucina e personale gentilissimo in sala, Massimiliano ci ha dato degli ottimi consigli e abbiamo gradito tutto (vedi foto).Se non cercate un ristorante extra lusso ma piatti ben cucinati,abbondanti ma soprattutto economici ,anche con lo sconto thefork del 40 % (vedi menù), questo è il posto giusto per voi !!!Wow !!!
