So I have gotten a little lazy as I have about 50 reviews in the pipeline but our meal tonight lit a fire under me to laud this joint to the stars. We just had a good experience. Great server, check. Interesting well-prepared foods ( Come on lychee nuts) two wonderful pastas and dorado, check. Nice joint, reasonable wine list. Check, check.Seamless and different from anything else we have had in a couple of years. Not exorbitantly expensive, sacre bleu!

I don't say this often (pretty much never) but The Pembroke is outstanding all around. From the time you step in the door, you'll feel welcome. Service is clearly a focus and all of the staff here provide excellent service. Matthew, our waiter, was fun and great help with the menu including the wine selection. The menu is not lengthy but the a good well rounded selection and changes seasonally. Our group ordered a variety of dishes from the lamb to fish to steak frites and all of them were outstanding. We managed to have room for a shared desert; also wonderful. The manager also stopped (I noticed he stopped at each table at some point during dinner) to check on guests. It was a nice touch. If you're looking for the perfect place for a special dinner or you just want to feel pampered, this is the place for you.
