Waited 40mins for service then Main Course was served before starter . Apologies were made but no excuse and there were only two in restaurant Dear Robert M,Thank you for your constructive remarks. Please accept our sincerest apologies for your dining experience. This it truly not the normal standard at all at Chi Chi. My fiends and I came here for dinner and the experience was average at best. The service was overall okay but started slacking off near the end. I waited a while for a water refill and ended up having to ask since nobody came around. I also saw/heard some employees getting upset with each other. The worst part however was the food. I had the schnitzel and found the entire dish not appetizing. It was cooked properly but just didn't taste good. A few others in my group were underwhelmed as well. A few people liked their orders but they had been drinking so who knows. There are so many good restaurants in town so I would not eat here again.

Wonderful staff greets you and sets the tone for the evening. Our server was terrific, serving wonderful drinks and explaining the menu items. The chicken curry was great as was the sea food cocktail. Desserts were amazing, all home made and wonderful!

Decor reflects the mid-century modern vibe of the town and especially the surrounding area! The food is fresh and good, the service attentive and friendly. Perhaps one of the best bargains--a 3 course lunch and happy hour meal (until 6 pm) for $22 with plenty of selections for each course. Three of us shared the molten lava chocolate for dessert--nummy!

We were drawn here by the celebrity connection (yes, it WAS Cary Grant's guesthouse, but he wasn't in) and its proximity to our hotel (about two blocks' walk through 102-degree toastiness). We were rewarded with a lovely dinner served with good cheer and in good air-conditioning by Victor: an ahi special for my wife, which she loved, and thick/compact lamb chops that were a bit of a struggle to handle (I REALLY wanted to chew off of the bone, but what would Cary say?) but cooked as ordered and delicious. What really won me over: After consuming a top-shelf ($16) vodka martini I wavered on ordering a second; Victor suggested a half-martini -- which I sipped with great savings and satisfaction. In cooler weather, the courtyard would've been irresistible. Next time -- and there will be a next time.

their sunday brunch is really dinner worthy just at an earlier hour. it is a prix fixe 3 course plated brunch with champagne and unbelievable food choices in full portions for each course and really it is to my mind the best early dinner . the atmosphere is splendid, the service impeccable, i am so glad they have reopened after a summer hiatus,Thank you so much for your comments.They are important for both the kitchen and the floor staff.Come and visit us again soon.SincerelyOmar
