Recently was in the area and decided it was time for some Chinese food. Sat at the bar, and got great service. Moo Shu Pork was the best I've had in quite some time. Good bar menu and so clean and welcoming. Staff very efficient. Would go back again!

Tsang's Cafe

We are open Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Since we moved to Plymouth approximately three years ago we have been searching for good Chinese food in our area. With this in mind we decided to try Tsang's Cafe, located in Duxbury, approximately half hour away. Our decision was based on its location, and the good reviews it had on Trip Advisor. it was located in a small strip shopping area in South Duxbury, well marked with plenty of free parking. The restaurant itself was good size with a tiny little bar to the left when you enter, and the dining area to the right. The room itself was very bland, little, if any decoration on the walls. White table clothes on the tables were a nice touch however. Our server took our drink and meal order with my wife having a Mai Tai to drink, and kung Pao Shriimp which was not on the menu, they agreeing to swap shrimp for the chicken. She ordered an appetizer of jumbo fried shrimp. I ordered a Singapore Sling to drink, and to eat, their egg rolls to start, followed by their chef's special which was comprised of shrimp, chicken, pork, steak and lobster in a brown sauce with water chestnuts, Chinese vegetables surrounded by broccoli spears. Waiter repeated back the order confirming that we wanted our apps first, then the entrees, and when we wanted our bottle of wine which we also ordered to have with dinner. First the good news: the drinks were very good. I have not had a Singapore Sling in a while. Now the bad news: My two egg rolls were delivered within ten minutes of my ordering them. They were not good. I always include in my determination of a Chinese Restaurant how good their egg rolls are, its a basic item. Tsang Cafe's gave me the distinct impression they were made much earlier in the week, in bulk. Then brought out and put under a heat lamp each day. The casing was hard, not flaky, difficult to cut into. The mixture inside was extremely dry and tasteless. I would love to elaborate on my wife's app of fried shrimp but she never got it. Our server brought out our entrees while i was still trying to eat my egg roll(order was two egg rolls but I only ate one). When asked where my wife's appetizer was he stated that "it was coming". I cancelled the order and had him serve our entrees. My wife stated that were meal was good, not what she expected but good.Mine was not. Though visually appealing it arrived luke warm and proceeded to cool quickly. My plate of pork fried rice arrived cold as well. The pork slices were over cooked and dry, the steak pieces were fatty, spongy, difficult to cut and very chewy.sauce was bland and tasteless. That being said it was a large helping, well worth the price of $18.95. Spears of broccoli were cold bordering on raw. Once made aware of the app error made by his server the owner did what he could to salvage the meal, giving us a lot of attention and pouring our wine and keeping it chilled away from the table. So, we are still searching for a good Chinese Restaurant in our area. We will not be going back to Tsang's Cafe. One last note, if you like your food spicy, Tsang's may no be for you either as the number of spicy dishes ID'd were few on the menu

Not sure who posted the photo of an inside restaurant that says its China Wok because that is not it. There's one in Marshfield and one in Pembroke and both of them have a few tables (maybe 5) so that photo is not China Wok. Anyways the food is very good. They serve a ton so we usually only order 1 meal to go but lately we are hooked on their won ton soup. It's a weekly order for us now. 2 soups and sometimes 1 appetizer and dinner is done!

Aoyama Japanese Steakhouse

Much improved since my last visit a year ago. Ordered off the regular sit down menu. Ordered calamari appetizer, home made pork dumplings which were delicious, Sambali entree which was a tasty Tai chicken dish and Tai basil fried rice with shrimp. All food was cooked fresh and was quite good. Service improved since my last visit. Used a groupon which was honored without difficulty. Will definitely be back.

Ming Dynasty

I'm so SAD! The Ming used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. It closed after storm damage and reopened under new ownership and is now AWFUL. My family went for Easter. I ordered edamame as an appetizer that smelled like fish. Then I ordered sushi that was very poorly made. We sat in the bar and ordered several drinks. My mother and I ordered Toasted Almonds (easy drink -- amaretto, kahlua, and cream). They served us something that my brother described as "5 parts diesel fuel and 1 part shattered dreams." Finally after 3 tries and some serious Googling in the back, they managed to figure it out. Service was bad. Food was bad. Just sad. We will never be back.

Ww get takeout from here every week or two. It is quite good and fairly priced. I sometimes add the peking duck which is a nice treat (caution - peking duck takes 30+ minutes to prep). We usually add the edamame and steamed shumai to our takeout order. Would recommend. I have eaten in the restaurant and that was good as well. The place is clean and recently renovated.

This place is relatively small. It's family operated and they work hard to prepare fresh and flavorful Asian cuisine. The pricing is very reasonable. Our meals were very good and the place is relaxed. It's a nice change of pace from the larger Asian fare operations. enjoy!
