We waited several months after this place opened before we ate here. The old restaurant in this location had been run-down for years and we were hoping for an Chinese-Thai-Asian Restaurant that would be an improvement. Unfortunately, not so much at Zhang's. I've rarely seen more than a couple of cars in their parking lot and that should have been a hint. It is nicely decorated with plenty of seating. We had an early dinner and the restaurant had only one other table occupied. I started with Egg Drop - Wonton soup and that tasted good and was warm. The waiter seemed a bit confused and finally got all of the soups and salads to the people in our group although it took several trips to get it right. My wife said her Miso soup was not warm and she didn't like her salad. I had the House Combination (Shrimp, scallop, chicken, pork & mixed vegs. w. specialties sauce) with brown rice and thought that it tasted good and seemed fresh. My wife and a friend at the table both had Chicken Teriyaki and both complained that the chicken was fatty and chewy. It came with some sauteed onions, but the menu describes it with vegetables. It seemed kind of skimpy for the cost. The server had to go back twice to get all of the food for our group of six, so it took 5-10 minutes from the time that first plate was served until the last was set-down at the table. I was one of the first, but held-off eating and my food was getting cold by the time the last plate was served. There is a very wide selection of food, from Chinese, to Thai, to Asian, to Sushi. If the whole experience was better, I would go back to try other things, but I didn't enjoy this enough to go back. Prices were not inexpensive for what it is. The place has a full bar.

Food was a little better quality. Cannot make just vegetable rice could not understand what we were asking. Roast pork was ok. Chicken and broccoli otjkng special for the price. And shrimp lo mein was not good. Service no drinks had to ask three times. Refill non existent and the check well thought it was gonna be free. Pass. Sorry not again.

This place has good food at a bargain price. Iâve been ordering food from here for many years and have never been disappointed. That place is owned and operated by a really nice couple and they are both excellent cooks. I recommend it highly.

this place has the BEST Din Sum this side of San Francisco. The selection is varied and large. The carts and servers with trays come around quickly. The food quality can't be beat. I have spent quite a bit of time in San Francisco having Dim Sum in different Houses. I do have a favorite out there but living here this is as good and much closer to home. Try the fried taro root,scallion dumplings,stuffed eggplant from the hot cart and for spice try the XO sauce from the urn as you enter. It is possible to be in and out in thirty to forty minutes, full, for thirty to thirty five dollars. You can also order from the main menu if you do not want Dim Sum. The place is generally packed with Oriental families which is a pretty good sign of the quality inside.

The Jade Garden, One of Keansburg, NJ Three Chinese Restaurants stands just a bit taller than it's competition. Quality and Pricing of the food is unmatched locally. The ONLY drawback is that it has a very small dining area

So happy we found this place, Their food is nice & fresh, they don't cut back, & they are clean & friendly. We have giving up on most of the chinese restaurants in this area because they cut back ,dirty, or the food is gross . you have to try their Lemon Chicken & there house special Fried Rice, you will come back for more & be addicted .
