We have been to Mountain View on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently good and the servings plentiful- most tables leave with leftovers for tomorrowâs lunch. The defining factor for Mountain View is the friendly service and the welcoming atmosphere for children and family groups. More than half of the tables are usually families having a wonderful time. The entertainer is a major drawcard. He is a very pleasant singer originally from Mauritius and has a song list that includes all the oldies from the Bee Gees to the Monkeys to John Denver, the Beatles and Elvis. The kids and usually a couple or two are usually dancing on the small dance floor - all having fun and adding to the jovial atmosphere.If you are a couple wanting a quieter evening I suggest you ask for a table at the back where you can comfortably enjoy the fun ambience - it can be a bit noisy close to the dance floor.

I ordered Satay Beef, Sweet & Sour Pork, Vegetable Rice, Skewer Chicken Satay - taste of this food as Chinese dishes was poor. Did not taste like quality Chinese food. The only taste good was Chicken & Corn Soup. Disappointed in the quality of the food for what I paid for.

It's always a displeasure to give a judgment like this, but you have to when they serve you uncooked and tasteless noodles. We also tried beef and chicken, excessively big and impossible to be finished, not for the quantity, but for the quality (the beef was so rubbery that you couldn't chew it). Besides we waited very long to be served, even if the restaurant was almost empty. Only the staff was very nice.

Had heard such a lot about Eaton Gardens and visited last Sunday night. We were there early and we could not fault the friendliness and graciousness of the staff and owner.Food however was not as good as we had expected. My husband's combination short soup was delicious but my prawn cutlet dish was dry and cold. We shared a combination sizzling plate which was spicy but meat was overcooked while our king prawns ginger and shallots was delicious. Would have been good if the food was consistent.
