In this little strip mall near a town center is a small Latin place, I believe owned by a Venezuelan family. Everything revolves around Carola who runs the front, gets your order and makes perfect coffee (my daily cortadito!). When there you will observe a stream of people, most of whom the owner knows, all of whom get a wonderful greeting. They make breakfasts, lunches, desserts, and wonderful Latin pastries such as empanadas, all fresh and delicious. When you order you can see staff in the back preparing their wonderful offerings. You can get Latin ices (raspaditos) in eight flavors, and they make holiday platters too. It's a homey place with great prices and it only will take your first visit to become a regular. My only complaint is that I only get to go there when I visit family in the area.

I love waffle cones, but the waffle bowls of Cold Stone Creamery are fantastic.I like to keep it simple in terms of ice cream flavor so when I went I had chocolate with mini marshmallows chopped up inside. A great treat to have occasionally. The staff was friendly and helpful and you have a few chairs and tables inside and outside to eat your ice cream at if you want.
