Since last Thanksgiving, Hansa has been dispensing their excellent coffee, as well as tea (with some terrific ".....and") in the upper level of Barbara's Bookstore -- in the former location of Barnes & Noble at Hawthorn Mall.It's a bright, light, open space with floor-to-ceiling windows and has all kinds of comfortable seating -- couches, tables, counter, etc.The "...and" includes vegan and gluten-free munchies from Holcomb Hollow, Mundelein; muffins, etc. from Bent Fork, Highwood; and wrapped Lotus Biscoff airplane cookies @ 50 cents each. There're also cold drinks in the refrigerated case.They have a reciprocal arrangement with Barbara's Bookstore. A purchase at one gives you a 10% discount at the other.

This was a nice surprise at the Mellody Farms shopping area. Being a first time visitor, I was a little overwhelmed. I was able to sample as many of the soups I wanted for my sandwich/soup combo. You can also choose salad. The combo also came with a roll for my soup and a chocolate covered strawberry. Freshly made and a very comfortable place to eat and hang out. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back if I visit Vernon Hills again.

On a road trip from Wisconsin to Arkansas, we stopped at Wildberry for lunch. With temperatures nearing 100, we bypassed the opportunity to eat on the nice outdoor patio (even though some were doing it). The atmosphere inside is fun, sunny and casual. Service was exceptional. We both ordered salads that turned out to be enough for dinner the same night. Delicious, fresh veggies and fruits, served with fresh bread. We will be back.

This place has lost out to McAllistar's as far as we are concerned due to their continued resistance to providing a gluten free bread option. It's wonderful that they are so proud of their breaded; but, for the growing number of gluten intolerant eaters, it doesn't matter. Get with the times, people!

I was taken here as a guest and greatly surprised by good service, wonderful tasting coffee, clean environment, and good tasting food. I had a skillet and I couldn't believe it also came with a side choice. I choose a crepe" . Their bacon is very good !!The amount of food that is given is plenty and you may not be able to finish everything. Our waitress was friendly and brought our food in a timely manor. When I drive past this establishment which is often the parking lot is ALWAYS packed in the morning and lunch time.They dont serve dinner.Get there early. Wonderful food is served here and a very good price for what you get on you're plate or cup !

There was a 25 minute wait on a recent weekend, filled with families and young people having breakfast/brunch/lunch together. This regional chain has a good selection of items, ranging from healthy and vegetarian to meat loving, and not healthy at all! Our small party ordered the full range and everyone enjoyed their meal. The bottomless coffee was good, and the pots of tea were very generous and very good. My only complaint was the server who managed the heavy workload by threading her arm into the coffeepot full of hot liquid, leaving a stream of coffee on diners when she went past. Surely this will be corrected soon. Locals show their love of this chain by buying the unique mugs that the hot beverages are served in.
