While the lunch fare is just average, the lake side dining terrace is great. Brunch ramps it up a notch - their breakfasts are delicious, with lots of variety. Expect a crowd tho for brunch.

I was in town for business and based on a recommendation we stopped by for a quick bite. It is a cute little place somewhat tucked away and hard to see. But it was worth it. Simple sandwiches and soup but with the most amazing bread / bun ever (and carrot cake). Nothing fancy.. just really good food and the nicest owner ever!

I would have ordered a frozen strawberry lemonade but $5.00 too pricey for me. I am spoiled by the $3.29 frozen lemonade at Chick Fil A. I know, it's fast food but... The food presentation and taste is excellent and not over priced. Some day I'll splurge and try their specialty coffee or frozen drink. My veggie pesto wrap was delicious!Thank you for your feedback. We do work hard to balance a quality product at an affordable price. I do understand that other establishments offer a frozen lemonade with strawberry flavoring. However, our smoothies are made with no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or sugar added.We will take your comments under advisement as we continue to look for new ways to provide the best value to our customers. We hope to see you again at Great Stone Coffee.

My wife and I were in town for a conference this past week and had read reviews of the Yankee Peddler here on TripAdvisor. We like to stop by unique places when we travel, and were looking for a lighter lunch. Our expectations were met and exceeded here!I had a half Turkey Reuben with chips and a smaller version of the Go Nuts salad, and my wife had the cheesy cauliflower soup and a half chicken salad sandwich. All of the food was excellent - I wasn't really sure about the salad in reading about it but decided to give it a shot as it was a "specialty of the house." We were offered dessert and it sounded delicious, but the lunch was quite filling and so we passed.If we're in Osage Beach again, we'll be sure to stop in!

Group of friends invited us to eat here after church. I had fish and chips. Some friends had the wrap sandwich which look more appealing. Any food that has been fried looks overcooked. Fish batter holds oil making it looks greasy. Iâll take McDonaldâs fries at any day. Oil used for cooking looks old or was not hot enough. They automatically charged you with 20% tip. Friends complained they didnât know that until recently because they still tip on top of that! I apologized for being honest. :-(

This is a nice place for a quiet meal. It is not rowdy, but you can laugh and have a good time. The food is always good and hearty. The breads and bakery goods are fresh and delightful. Eggs are cooked properly and not rubbery. It is great place to meet friend or family for a meal.

Arrive early on weekends. My husband and I were there on a Sunday morning around 8:30 and didn't have to wait, but the line started to form around 9. This is your basic Midwest hometown cafe. You'll get generous portions and your coffee refilled before you need to ask. However, the waitstaff may try to rush you a bit if there is a line. Our waitress grabbed my plate before I was finished eating.
