Totally unassuming, this cafes exterior hides the heart infused, nourishing offerings to be found within. Yes, it's sort of like old school US diner vibe meets small town simple cafe - in looks - but it is very clean, genuine and totally yummo big time. The people that manage this cafe are friendly, welcoming and real. You can feel the LOVE they put into the simple, honest menu. The menu is packed with flavoursome and world class healthy fare for sure.Did someone already say "hidden gem". It is for sure!

In all honesty I thought the dishes were small and overpriced. Ive been here a few times with friends and I've always had to fill up at the bakery afterwards. The service was friendly and the quality of the food was OK. Although while eating it I thought that it was basic food that could equally be cooked at home. It didn't feel like I was dining out at all. The presentation of the food was quite good - but again - PRICEWISE - too expensive and the size of the actual food on the plate was small. A main felt like entre size and an entre felt like tapas. I'm sorry and I know you might disagree - but we are paying money and we expect just that little bit more. Yes, times are tight.... but so are times tight for customers so why pay more? That's where I, as a customer, draw the line. I would have given this the thumbs up but I can't. Either reduce the prices or increase the food.Hi Tony, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent visit. We understand that our customers are very price conscious and with this in mind we find that our prices are well in line with other cafes in the area.As I canât comment on what you had as it was never mentioned, we ourselves know through our daily interaction with our guest that our meals are quite substantial and price worthy. It is worth mentioning that our menu displays items for breakfast and lunches so therefore itâs a little confusing as to see where you may have seen the entree displayed! Perhaps the next time your in with us and find that the dishes are inadequate it might be worth mentioning it to us at the counter so that we can best look after you in person. Best regards Cherry tree cafe!

We dropped in for lunch halfway through our Yarra Valley Winery tour. The restaurant recommended by our tour guide was absolutely chockers, so remembered the reviews that weâd read on this one and decided to try it. Very pleased we did. They were busy (Healesville was slammed) but we managed to get an outside table. Our lunch was delightful, the service rapid and friendly. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately as we had several wineries still to visit) we were unable to enjoy a glass with our meal. There was a line painted on the pavement, and apparently past that line you couldnât have alcohol (council rule). Seemed weird, if you sat any closer to the restaurant you would have been in the way of passers by. Staff offered to find us a table inside, but we were enjoying the sunshine and the buzz so had coffee instead - very good. Have no hesitation in recommending this place.

Visit our Cheese Shop and taste a selection of our artisan cheeses, stock up on local produce and wine, and treat yourself to one of our delicious cheese platters.
What a lovely warm cafe/diary shop housed in a non descript tin shed! The views from the cafe is peaceful and the cheese platters are amazing! Great stop over. They serve good coffee too!

Family owned and run. Everything home made and healthy. Allergy and vegan friendly. Great for kids. Local beer and cider. Seasonal menu with local, ethically sourced produce.
Was good food asked for a chai latte and they gave me a chai tea and acted like it was the right thing even though I asked when they brought it over as well, made and feel uncomfortable to have to ask to change it. Also no option of almond milk is disappointing. Overall the food was ok

YARRAWOOD ESTATE's Cellar Door & Café enjoys outstanding 360-degree views over the vineyard, lake, and Yarra Valley beyond. Visitors can sample the full range of YARRAWOOD Tall Tales wines, or simply relax with a glass of wine and a delicious meal. During
We have been to Yarrawood on a number of occassions and always found it to be one of those places were you could sit back enjoy their cellar and their foodThey are now doing breakfast on Sat and Sundays which I would recommend and their winter menu. For a lovely drop of wine (and I am not wine expert) ask for their barrel range which only comes by the bottle so if you have a group well worth sharing
