We come here annually as part of a board retreat where we stay across the road at the Carrington. For meals we pop across the road to the Cafe Woodworks. We had dinner, then breakfast, then lunch for around 20 people. The highlight was the service. The staff serving us were friendly and efficient. Despite the number of people, meals were brought out close to each other. The food itself was really good with the highlight for me being the Seafood Chowder (which was a special at the time). Highly recommended for groups.

On a quick trip through Bungendore discovered the R&R Diner, simple Cafe quaint setting outside under the trellised tree, pleasant atmosphere and good food. Part of a small 'square' with little shops around. Toasted sandwich was tasty, tea and coffee great. Service was pretty fast considering it was on a weekend with plenty of tourists around. Could sit inside if you wish but much better outside. Nice village vibe, some interesting shops to visit and purchase that souvenir. All in all a great stop for breakfast or lunch!

What a great start... pizza, pasta, crepes and more.We had two of the best pizzas in a long time, wonderful bases and lots of fresh flavours.They were cooked to perfection and on time. Well done and looking forward to heading to Zimiâs Place as a regular outing.

Yes, the food is good, yes, the coffee is fine. But the service (on a sunny Sunday afternoon) was chaotic - staff yelling out names for drinks, and customers coming in from the outside tables wondering where their drinks had gone (up to 15 minutes wait). One of our pies had a rubber band in it - not a good sign. Staff did have numbered discs to give out for orders to put on your table but did not use them. Serviette containers on all the tables were empty. Up to 12 people in the queue at any one time. Staff are young and friendly, but there is a need for an experienced supervisor to make things run more smoothly
