While visiting we kept looking for some original BBQ Ribs Brisket chicken. We passed a number of places that advertised authentic Alabama BBQ but we never saw any smoker going at those places. August's had it going every day we found out they start at 5:30 am every morning. They have Ribs chicken every day Thursday and Friday also have Brisket. They have steaks on Saturday only but you need to pre-order. They also do ham's turkey and the cook we complemented was impressed that we took the time We also met the owner who appreciated the comments. August's were open regularly which couldn't be said for some of the other places. Great place to eat service was excellent

Parking is adequate. Lighting outside is poor. The property is old but clean. The service was good. All were helpful. The food was decent but not outstanding. The sandwich was salty. The wings were ok but not terrific. Sauces were just so so. Service was quick. Take phone orders so you can really speed it up. For what you get there is value.Again the help was good. Would return

No longer the Wolves Den, called Lori Darlins. Parking is adequate. Facility very clean but compact. Associates are friendly. Menu typical of BBQ place. Order like a fast foods but then you have option to sit. The food was hot and tasty. Chicken Livers not bad. Good value.
