à 2, nous sommes arrivés à 12h30, nous sommes sortis à 14h30. Nous avons mangé un plat et un dessert, rien d'autre, et nous n'avons pas mangé spécialement lentement... Donc il y a un vrai problème de service -- et pourtant il ne semblait pas y avoir beaucoup de clients, nous sommes en plein mois d'août...Côté cuisine, plutôt bien. Andouillette et onglets bons, cuits comme il faut, frites maison un peu grasses et pas très chaudes hélas. Et surtout, une quantité de sauce ridicule : 1 cm au fond d'un tout petit pot... Peut-être aurions-nous pu en redemander, mais la moindre des courtoisies, dans ce cas, aurait été de nous le préciser en nous servant le plat.Le service est raisonnablement aimable, même si les conseils de la serveuse sur le vin (pour accompagner l'onglet) se résument à "ah ben tous les vins iront bien, ça dépend de vos goûts..."Bref, pas horrible mais il y a des axes d'amélioration !

Very friendly restaurant. Chef comes to the table and presents the meat beforehe cooks it. The grill/kitchen is behind a glass panel so you can see him cookthe meal to perfection.

This is a friendly and simple restaurant on the river in Nantes. It is nearly directly acros from Ille de Machine. The owner grills the meats on a charcoal pit in the restaurant. The food is simple and delicious. But make sure you come hungry as there will be plenty. In the end we shared two dishes between our family of four and it worked out well. Also, the desserts are nearly America-size, and delicious as well. My kids thought they had died and gone to chocolate mousse and tiramisu heaven. The owner and his wife are also very friendly people We were sad we weren't able to come back with a bigger appetite during our brief stay in Nantes
