We stopped in the Glen Dale, WV location for pulled pork sandwiches. The service was good and the sandwiches were delicious! The sandwiches had a hefty portion of BBQ pulled pork with coleslaw and homemade chips on the side. Almost too much food to eat.

read reviews about great fish sandwich, not so much. bland even with "extra' tarter sauce. . Ordered mine on a bun, and not the white bread that it is usually how it's served.. BE AWARE that you will only get 50 minutes for your HOUR on the parking meters. You will get a citation!!!

We have stayed at Wilson Lodge at least annually for over 50 years and have seen many changes. One of the better ones was the addition of this bar and grill. Large enough to accommodate a good size crowd and capable of expansion into other rooms, it is a good place to unwind after a meeting.

Here for dinner on a Sunday night. Nice sports bar atmosphere, we watched the NBA finals game. Menu and prices are typical for this type of establishment. Food was quickly ordered and served. One note though, I ordered a beef dip sandwich which comes with a beef "au jus". This "au jus" is typically straight beef broth or bouillon. Theirs reeked and tasted very much of soy sauce, most unusual and debatable at best. Server was obviously having a bad night, with a very unenthusiastic attitude shall we say.

My daughters love Applebeeâs. We stopped for a late lunch before going to Cabelaâs. Weâve never tried this particular location before. We had excellent service, the usual good Applebeeâs food and it was fast. Our table didnât have the greatest view just the intersection. The bathrooms were clean and nice.

The menu was good and the burgers were tasty and sizable. The atmosphere was hip and modern though a little stark. Kind of resembled a sports bar. I had the Bubba Burger medium well. It was good and the cheese gimmick while not really something I wanted to eat, was unique. A couple at the table had the PBC, they weren't crazy about the taste and/or quality of the cheese. All of this said, i'd go back again for a burger anytime.

Ordered the filet and shrimp. Steak was good, tender, flavorful and cooked right. Shrimp were OK, not over cooked as many restaurants have done but they were pretty heavily salted. The rice was so heavily salted I couldnât eat it. Really, lay off the sodium. Baked potato good, service by Miranda at the bar polite and prompt.Hi, Ron! I had my team from work meet me here for a late lunch, and we generally had a great time, but the service was exceptionally slow. It was not a reflection on the waitress, who was attentive, but once she took our orders it seemed to take forever to actually get food.I might stop again, but not unless I have a lot of time to kill.

They attempt to duplicate the original Primanti's from the strip district in Pittsburgh, but not quite the same. Bread not substantial enough to hold up to the sandwich and the slaw was a little dry. My "local" husband wanted a trip down memory lane, so we went to Ye Olde Alpha. The decor is tired, the food is uninspired, drinks are boring & the service was very basic. However, the place was quite crowded on a Thursday night....though I'm certainly not sure why!Thank you for coming to dine with us and we apologize that your experience was not a favorable one. The Alpha is celebrating its 87th year so while we think we are doing some things right, we are not perfect. We appreciate you taking the time to review us regardless.
