Nice beach bar and restaurant a short walk from the center of town. Decent to good food, reasonably priced, nice bathrooms. You can rent two beach chairs and an umbrella for 20 euro for as long as you want. Consider making a reservation for both lunch and the beach chairs. Nice outside eating in two areas, one beachside which gets the sun after lunch and one to the side which seems to get shade for a longer time. Food and drink service available at the beach chairs but you have to go inside to place your order. Beach is some small gravel and sand but walking barefoot is possible. Beach is shallow - you can walk a good distance from the shore and still be standing. Swimming area is marked off with buoys. Seemingly reasonably priced beach and swim toys available a short walk back toward town on other side of the street. You can bring your own food/drink to the beach chairs but some discretion probably advisable. Thai chicken dish really good, hamburger got mixed reviews from our group.

We went to Enzos on one of the busiest nights during the french high season. Our kids were very hungry and the very nice staff did everything they could to find us a table. They were busy and didn't have much time but nevertheless they never forgot to smile. The food is good and especially their burgers are fine. Enzos is a nice alternative to the finer french cooking that dominates the area.

Worst waiter/waitress experience ever. The waitress totally misunderstands the concept of serving. First she seemed a little offended by the fact that our French is rather poor - and her English even worse. Then she "rolled her eyes" when we ordered a milkshake after the first 2 (and much too expensive) bottles of water, signalizing that we were really annoying guests. And when we then wanted to order once more to have something to eat she hammered the knives and forks loudly into the table to demonstrate once more that guests really are invented just to bother her. We've never seen or experienced anything just near to that behaviour and after all we've been quite around the world during the last 30 years. We were so shocked that we couldn't react for several seconds but after the "frozen" period I immediately rushed inside to the desk and cancelled our orders and we put the payment for water and milkshake in the tray and left. For good. The waitress came by and tried to explain and said something like this: "It's not you, it's my boss" - and then she ran out of words. I don't know what is going on internally in this brasserie and I really don't care as long as it is not effecting the guests. But that is exactly what happened here. Bad luck for us but even more bad for this brasserie as we'll never go here again - and we actually travel to Sanary each year for 2 weeks and have been doing that for more than 20 years now.
