New into town needed a roll for lunch. Two tuna / pepper rolls a small beer and pot or tea 18⬠+ , service non existent. Baguettes less than fresh the indigestion was free. Keep walking thereâs better places ahead. The bar is situated on a sharp turn for Calle Colon, so not only kippered by inconsiderate smokers, all the buses swing close to the pavement with air brakes going off and fumes. So, one of the worst bars weâve been in ever.

We found this place by accident after going the wrong way trying to find the Alcazar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had some nice Tapas and a drink for a very reasonable price. Because of itâs location it is mainly locals.

This bar, with a friendly proprietor, is located just inside San Andreâs Gate, in a small square. Itâs a great place for a late afternoon drink, away from the sometimes-crowded centre of Segovia. It catches the afternoon sun too â what better way to end a day of sightseeing?

The place is good on the Plaza Mayor of the village. But when you only want to have a beer, the waiter seems not to be interested. The food was acceptable if not brilliant but the main joy of calling in here is to experience the atmosphere. Most cafes around the square are modern glass and plastic but this is a good old fashioned and typically Spanish restaurant. In fact, although it was busy, we were the only non-Spanish people there when we visited. The location is pretty good too.

We enjoyed the dinner menu of local Segovian specialties, and we truely enjoyed it, each piece. In addition to great food, the service was remarkable and the chef the most sympathetic. So I can really recommend this restaurant whether you want to dive into Segovian tastes or just enjoy a good meal. Just come prepared and be hungry enough because the menu is huge! Our friends who live in Segovia highly recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The quality of food and selection is excellent. Great service as well. The owner greeted us at the door and we immediately felt welcome. We had the cochinillo asada which is a Segovia specialty. And the desserts are very good too. We highly recommend!
