Where to eat Bar food in Palm Beach: The Best Restaurants and Bars

August 19, 2019 Augustus Redeker

Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Palm Beach. Palm Beach has long lured America's big name social elite, from the Kennedys to the Pulitzers to the Trumps. If you don't have the Jaguar, catch a Palm Tram around the city. Opulent extravagance is the order of the day. But if you can take your eyes off the glittering procession of socialites and the prices at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Spa and in Worth Avenue stores, there are plenty of other sights to be seen. Don't miss Henry Morrison Flagler Museum or the hopping nightlife on Clematis Street.

Good spot with nice ambience. Inside/outside bar and great decor. Anti oxidant margarita is delish. Only had chips and guacamole and they were great. They also don’t use plastic straws!!! Not sure why any Florida or other any other place still uses plastic straws.

Best place in Downtown Hands Down. Always have an excellent time at City Cellar. I love their BRUNCH on Sundays with truly bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's. The Breakfast Pizza is delicious and my girl loved the biscuits and gravy. Always sit and at the bar and have quick, prompt, professional service. Paul and Moises are the best, they keep us coming back every week.

Being locals we have heard so much about Galley and have been meaning to come but just never got around to it. We chose to stay at the Hilton West Palm Beach on our wedding night because it’s not only the best hotel in town but also we could finally go to Galley! We had the famous cookie and the best specialty cocktails! Thanks to Craig and Rich for their outstanding service. We will be coming back and the goal is to try everything in the menu.Dear josiesalgado, thank you for your fantastic 5 star review. We are truly honored that you chose Galley to celebrate your first dinner as a married couple with our famous Oven Baked Cookie and our handcrafted cocktails. The service is impeccable. Our waiter was "Mike" and he was fantastic! We never had to wait for anything. We were a party of 8 and called about 40 minutes prior to arrival. They had already set up a table for us perfect for our party. The drinks and appetizers were amazing! The ambience is a mix of "old world" and modern day flare. I always love bringing guests to this restaurant because it gives the "essence" of the Island to those who visit. AND, the Bloody Marys are fantastic!

We have been frequenting the Breakers for 40 years. We regret that this is the first time the main restaurant (HMF) was a disappointment! First, the music was exceptionally dissonant and far TOO LOUD. Four times, I requested that the volume could be lowered so that we could get to know our new business associates. Never happened!Second, the food was pretty good, but, Third, the service was unacceptably slow. It is sad to see that many of todays' youth just don't understand what it really means to be in a Service job.Until HMF comes up to par, we will not return.Michael Graves

This restaurant transports you back in time with all the amenities of the modern world!! First when you step from the gilded age into the beautiful yacht, you are blown away by the beautiful corral reef fish tank bar - yes that’s right a bar that is a beautiful fish tank with clown fish and wonderful corrals. It is so sleek you feel rich just like the original patrons were. We were seated at a table with a fantastic view of the Breakers. The wait staff were so attentive we never asked for refills they just appeared. We tried the seafood club sandwich and the swordfish sandwich. They offered to cut them in half so we each could try both!! Both were amazing, a real taste treat for your mouth. The truffle fries were delectable!! We ended the meal with the banana cream pie!! They knocked this pie out of the ball park!!! It is a must do when you dine here!! Restaurant is handicap accessible and also very mindful of allergies if you ask for changes. It is rather pricey but the experience is so worth the money!! Plus you get to explore The Breakers hotel by walking to restaurant. There are some steps but they have a lift if needed. Restaurant is located at the back of the hotel. Check out the ballrooms as you walk back to restaurant. Beautiful gilded age hotel and an amazing seafood restaurant!!!

Do the flights and find yours! Would welcome a few more bar bite options but no big deal. Looking forward to taking my 89 year old father there tomorrow and the seeing his face when he sees all the selections his my choose from. Thank you DAS for coming to Singer Island. Thanks for such a nice review and coming to hang with us so often, Diane! We're so glad you enjoy the menu and appreciate the feedback on bar bites. Our menu will continue to grow and change (as do our taps!), so we will keep take this into consideration in the future. We're looking forward to seeing you today...please ask for a manager so we can come say hi and thank you in person!
