My husband and I arrived a tad early for dinner (6pm) and so we had some drinks and ordered a pizza each. His pizza (vegetarian) looked ok. My pizza looked a bit burnt around the edges and I thought this might just be on the top. I took a bit and thought - this tastes odd and then had another bit and it was bitter and gritty. I got my knife and turned the pizza over and it was burnt. Beyond recognition. There were 5 layers of char on the bottom where you couldnât even see the base anymore. That should never have gone out. Disgusting. I then shared my husbandâs pizza. The server was lovely and she was able to get my pizza removed from the bill - as it should. But based on other reviews here I see that the food is a bit hit and miss. I would recommend just sticking to the drinks at this establishment. We wonât return.

Had heard about this place from my son who is based in Meribel. Heâd eaten here a few times and was raving about it. We visited late on a Friday evening and were welcomed like old friends even though it was our first visit. They simply could not do enough to make us feel welcome and at home. We had a beer - they gave us a beer menu as they have such a wide choice, and then ordered a variety of mixed meat platters and my wife had the ribs. The food was simply delicious. Not too smokey - something I appreciated since so many smokehouse food is way over smoked in my opinion. This was just right, you got the smokey flavour, but you could still taste the meat base which was wonderful. Portions are plentiful and again the staff and the owner made sure we had everything we needed. Prices were very reasonable, I will eat here again when I return later in the season. At the end they brought us a complimentary junipe each - just the right ending. Try it, youâll love it.

We visited La Taverne for apres ski and for dinner. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the sirloin steak which was undercooked - rare as opposed to medium. My husband is vegetarian and he enjoyed his starter and main. The atmosphere is fun and friendly.

Stopped mid morning for coffees and snacks overlooking the lifts in Mottaret. Okay location on the terrace looking up towards Val Thorens but also the pandemonium of the various lifts that surround. Satisfying coffee and okay snacks but nothing special to entice a a linger or a return visit. Bit crowded and noisy.

We had an evening meal here [Feb 2018] as a party of seven, having booked a couple of days in advance. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent. Thank you. One note: we visited on a Tuesday and the 'tent' (marquee) outside had a British 2-/3-piece band playing from 7.30pm - we were given the choice (upon arrival) of eating in their midst (in the tent) or in the restaurant and opted for the latter.

We arrived last Wednesday to enjoy some fine apres ski & were not disappointed.... we meet many like minded people delighting in the recent snowfall & having enjoyed the fresh powder, my son & I couldnât think of a better place to share a few drinks, stories & meet some great people wanting to share the experience together.Well done guys.... enjoy the rest of your season!! Nice bar and restaurant, directly on the slopes, open all day. Big sunny terrace and warm atmosphere evenings. All our dishes and deserts are homemade and we use very little frozen products. Our prices are more than correct for a restaurant on the slopes.

We had lunch here yesterday and had the âplat du jourâ with ham, poched egg, potatoes and salad. Great food for a good price in a nice ambiance near the piste. Definately worth visiting!

This restaurant is conveniently situated close to the main downhill piste to Meribel at the Rondpoint. Service was excellent and the food was good although it is not cheap. It also serves until about 3pm which means you can ski until 1.30pm so the pistes are empty whilst others lunch. The veal, chicken and pulled beef were all very good. I followed with a variation on tarte Tatin which was tasty. There are pizzas as well and a variety of delicious deserts.

Lovely to get away from Meribel and head to Les Allues for a relaxed lovely meal. Food was fantastics great quality, a bit different and service fantastic. Worth the trip. Will def be back.Thank you so much for your review. Yes we are on the free bus route so we are easy to get to from the main town of Méribel. We have a lively bar and two restaurant levels above, and we have live music every Wednesday and Friday night too. Our menu has an Asiatic feel as well as encompassing favourites such as our homemade pizzas, burgers and Côte de Boeuf. Thank you for heading down and we will be passing on your kind comments to the team.

Excellent ambiance, good service, good value.I took the chef special pizza - raclette, it is huge! Best make sure you are hungry, after saying it was her favourite, our waitress later admitted it took 3 sittings for her to finish one! What I did manage to eat was good. My wife's burger was well presented and was demolished in very quickly! Chips were good too.
