Leaf Restaurant and Cigar Bar

We were a group of 8 guys on way to our Guys weekend. This is an annual event and every time we start off with the lunch at the Leaf Cigar Bar and Restaurant. The ambiance of the place is amazing - very relaxed. The food is amazing as well. A large part of the group was vegetarian and they were very accommodating of their needs. The only issue was that they put a slice of bacon in the Bloody Mary of one of the guys and then had to replace it.But be aware that this is a place that expects you to come relax, enjoy your food and drinks, have a cigar or two and chill. Not the place if you are on the clock - otherwise an awesome place.

This restaurant has been around a long time and has built up,a steady clientele. This was my first visit. The menu is extensive with all the standards. Portions are hearty. I found the food to be a bit heavy and the flavors while not exceptional certainly acceptable. I would give our meal a solid B. The atmosphere is friendly and family oriented.

Stemie's 1818 Tavern

After living 10 minutes away from this place for 16+ years, we finally decided to try it out. When we first walked into 1818 tavern, the atmosphere was great- it wasn't a mesmerizing experience but it was a cozy place. Food was very disappointing. It felt like I just got my appendix removed and now they were giving me a hospital dinner. I thought it was especially strange they had the 2 martini rule (they said only 2 martinis for us but some people are saying 3). Although I couldn't handle more than one martini it was a strange rule. I could probably get a better meal from a local pizza place. The martini was fine- it wasn't something to be hyped up for but it wasn't bad. Probably wont come back- service was also strange so there's that. Sure you can try it out, but I can assure you it's not as great as it looks.

We came here for our anniversary dinner, trying to avoid the Bethlehem are during Musikfest. After all was said and done we issued we had gone to the Bethlehem location. Whiles our drinks were great. Our food was not. My husband didn’t like him jambalaya at all. He’s not one to complain about food, but I thought he was making an odd face while he was eating. After we left he told me his meal was just not good. Almost no sausage in the dish. Crawfish, yes, but, well guess that’s just not his thing. My cornbread didn’t have butter dripping off it like usual. There was something just off about our meal. Our service was very good, and yes, we were asked how our food was. Mine was ok, so I thought we were doing fine!We may be back, but probably only for drinks, they are super!

Went to Pearly Bakers today for their infamous chili cook off. We waited in line for over an hour to participate. 14 contestants including chili with camel, and one with bison. It's was hard to tell what the place was really like seeing it was so packed. Even got to exchange greetings with the mayor of Easton, Sal Panto. My future son-in-law works there as a chef, another month to the wedding. He and the head chef had their individual chili cook off. They weren't allowed to compete with the other contestants. I'm looking forward to going back and relaxing with a couple of cold IPAs and a burger.

A great place to enjoy steak or ribs with family and friends. Casual atmosphere with country music playing, peanuts at the table and friendly servers bringing you food and drinks You get to choose your steak from the display at the front of the restaurant and there are optional toppings to add to the meal. My steak was delicious and too big to finish so I had leftovers for lunch. They also had a great deal on gift cards for the holidays so I bought some for my parents and got some coupons to return myself. I’m looking forward to another great meal

We stopped in here based on the recommendations of several friends. We were greeted and seated promptly and apparently timed it just right as the place began to start filling up. Our server greeted us fairly quickly, took our drink order and came back with them rather quickly. We asked a question about the size of the pizzas, which we guessed from his description were personal size. We asked for him to give us a moment to decide what we wanted. Being as the pizzas were personal size we would each be getting our own and there were some interesting (in a good way) combinations offered. Even so, we made up our minds quite quickly. Our assigned waiter wouldn't even look in our direction let alone come back to take our order. It wasn't for a lack of trying to get his attention either. After about 10 minutes I told my wife I'm done, I would pay for our drinks and we were out of there. A waitress passing by for the first time overheard me and asked what happened. We identified the server and told her we were tired of waiting for him to decide to come back. She offered to take our order right then and there. Having a hungry, irritable early teen with us we figured we would give it a chance. It wasn't long after she took our order that our food was coming out. It certainly was very good and lived up to the hype given by our friends. I must admit that I suffered a bit of "sticker shock" when I got the bill. It certainly was higher than expected. That being said, I would give this place another go with just myself and my wife or with friends that would be splitting the bill. I certainly hope our next experience with an assigned server is better. I am so happy that our waitress was able to turn your experience around. Your thoughts and concerns are appreciated. Our servers are trained to give our guest the upmost attention so I will take responsibility for this situation. Please come back and see me personally. We look forward in serving you again.

I heard him make the call and know he gave accurate information My husband had a missed Call the week before the reservation and when he returned the call the girl informed him they had the wrong day written down but were weren’t taking calls for the following weekend because of St Pattys day. He explained he had called earlier in the week and this was not his fault. She offered nothing other than saying they were not taking because of St Patty’s day which is not for two weeks and has nothing to do for the week we wanted reservations. TERRIBLE. We will not patronize this place ever again!!!!

Was in the mood for shrimp and grits and wife was in the mood for beer. Where to go as we wracked our brains for a place to go. This is the place for REALLY inventive beers and good food. Try a flight of beer and don’t be scared of the unique ones. We tried the blueberry beer. I liked it, wife did not. There was a beer called smoothie with lactic and hops and I did not like but wife loved. You can get a growler to take home or even better a 32 oz can that we opted for. Menu of beers are online so you can take a peak and read the descriptions before you go. Now as far as the food it was very good. We started with the pickle plate as well, with a dish called pickle plate you kind of have to. Came out with pickles, duh. But pickled veggies, peperocini, mustard, and two thick slices of crusty bread. The surprise was pickled pineapple. You have to try it. Was very good and pairs well with beer. We tried the pot sticker dumpling and some of the best I have had over cabbage and pickled. I wish it had come with a dipping sauce to compliment. I think they must be deep fried as nice and solid. Main course was shrimp and grits and while I got complaints from friends that Yankees can’t make it well this was as good as what I had in Atlanta. The only distraction was the pickled pineapple on top. While I liked the pickled pineapple I moved it to the side. Nice amount of true andouille sausage and not over cooked shrimp. The grits were true grits and slightly gritty from the coarse cornmeal. Wife had a salad with chicken. Simple but very good. Getting to the building is a series of looking for the door. From the corner door there is a sign to go around to side. Walk past two doors and take the third. You are greeted and pointed to the hostess. We made reservations on open table but on a Friday night at 7 it was not needed. There is the bottom floor, outside seating (by the street), upstairs, and upstairs balcony which is limited. The wait staff could not be better. Our waitress was helpful and pleasant and fun. The bus boys were so efficient that an empty plate or glass never sat for more than a minute. We joked that they must be low on tableware. Downstairs they have t-shirts if you want to display where you have been. My wife can’t pass that up. Parking, we were surprised to find a spot on the street close by. It is metered parking which is not bad as they take credit cards. I put in three hours as we did not know how long we would sit and drink. We were not rushed so was glad we did. If no parking the pine street? Garage is close enough to walk from. About a 6 minute walk, but!!!!!!! It’s uphill. So be forewarned. The only downside and this is personal preference only is very loud. Granted I am sensitive to noise to a small degree, but had to ask waitress to repeat things.
