Incredible spot down by the water. Fresh fish menu (blackened snapper huge and v tasty). Kids food a bit bland. Service a bit slow (we lost our server for a good half an hour on an uncleared table so didnât get chance to order dessert). But an honest local restaurant which is worth visiting for the sunset alone.

THIS is all that the previous reviewers promised! Yes..its away from, well, basically everything. Its worth driving 10 or 15 miles! Yes, it looks, well, unimpressive. Don't let that stop you! We had called for reservations (recommended on a Fri or Sat night), but there were a couple seats open at the bar when we arrived a few minutes early, so we happily sat there. The atmosphere is chill; the staff are VERY attentive and friendly; the food is GOOD, and the prices are very reasonable (3 beers, wings, prime rib burger, AND dessert = $40!) Hubby gave wings a top rating, and the prime rib burger was Perfectly done! And, salted caramel cheesecake? Oh. My. But, seriously, the service sells it; if the service isn't good, the whole experience is crap. Very pleased.

This restaurant is attached to The Plantation Hotel. It features breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. Our group had the weekday breakfast buffet which for $13 was a good deal. It offers scrambled eggs (but you can order your eggs fried or poached if you request it), breakfast meats, potatoes, hot and cold cereals, breads, pastry, fresh fruit. Seating area is roomy and comfortable with window view of pool. Service friendly.

This is about an hour and a quarter from the Villages. Old Florida roads that can be treacherous at night. Well kept and scenic restaurant ...went for lunch, immediate seating, Went with friends, so had a chance to see and sample many menu items including grouper and oysters. Outstanding service and meals were hot of the kitchen.

As you enter the establishment,the smell of Hickory smoke greets you with a pungent aroma. The servers are friendly,and accomidating.The food is done perfectly,succulent fall of the bone St. Louis,or Baby Back Ribs. Juicy Pulled Pork sammy. The baked beans are a delight,and the Tater Salad is made with Sour cream. It was Ok,but I like a Mustard/Mayo base,with lots of onions,and some bacon bits. It was good though! Craft Beers,and Domestic,Wine,and Tequila specials. 2 for 1 on select nights. Awesom Sauces.

Had dinner here after a recommendation and wasnât disappointed. I had the ribs , half rack ( still huge portion ) and the meat fell off the bone. Husband had a steak , cooked to perfection. Great free salad and hot bread with all meals and the service was great.Not fine dining , but as I said in the title , the place was full of locals , which added to the experience

This is a great stop in Crystal River for some relaxing fun and refreshment. The beers and wines are very good and are also distributed to local restaurants and beers. Fun place with some good tasting and drinking deals. Worth stopping in!

Had out of State visitors. They loved the shrimp plates offered. We sat inside, but outside on the covered porch is my favorite. Food was great. Wait staff was excellent.
