Sitting outdoors here on a lovely late spring day is quite nice. Our waiter, Cody, was the best: he was able to provide great comebacks for my brother’s offbeat humor, was attentive, and was courteous. We had the calamari which were good but the sauce (what was that?) doesn’t pair well. The wings were good but so sticky--we should’ve been provided wet-naps! The desserts are disgustingly too large, and my mother thought the crab sandwich had too much filler. Actually, it was Cody who made our visit here great.

Bar service was very good. Three lady (one was Keri) bartenders were very busy, but still attentive. When I asked to sample wine, it was done without drama. Shrimp appetizer was very good. Steak au poivre was very good as was the mashed potatoes. I was tempted to try their fries, but was curious about the mashed. Waiter was good but slightly distracted (was looking around while talking to us).Decor could be a variety corporate owned chains. Not bad, just slightly cookie-cutter.Restroom was clean.

An excellent Irish Pub with a lot of IPAs on draft as well as domestics and Harp, Guinness and Smithwicks. The food was standard pub fare but done perfectly. I had wings (hot and meaty) and a roast pork sandwich with rabe, sharp provolone and long hots. My wife had fried pickles and a brunch burger. Our server, Kelsie, was attentive and a delight. A new choice for a good, inexpensive meal.

Realizing this is a newly-renovated establishment with, perhaps, inexperienced owners, certain standards should still be met. Watching the much-needed physical transformation of the property gave us hope for local pub which would become our "go to" place. However, out enthusiasm was dulled by a disappointing first impression. While the restaurant itself has undergone a remarkable (and badly-needed) renovation, we wonder if the excitement will last once the novelty has worn off. One of our pet peeves is having a server ask you want you would like to drink before we've even taken our coats off and gotten comfortable in our seats. No "hello", "thanks for coming in", "how are you?"...just "do you know what you want to drink?" When we finally got settled, we asked for a "beer list" and the server pointed to a hand-written list on the wall which could not be read easily mostly due to the handwriting and, to a lesser extent, the distance from where we were sitting. Now don't get us wrong, the place was busy, due, we suspect, to its "newness" and the fact it was their "grand opening weekend". But, one would also expect that customer service would be foremost in their plan not only because it was their opening, but to assure repeat business going forward. To that end, not only was the brusque greeting from the bartender a disappointment, we were also surprised to see who we believed to be the owners of the restaurant had commandeered a corner of the bar even though customers were standing at the bar due to the lack of sufficient seating. Albeit, the owners were taking up valuable "income space" at the bar, we gave them benefit of the doubt by assuming they were just watching to see what improvements might be needed in terms of server activity and processes for customer service. To that end, we also thought rather than calling out raffles from their perch at the bar, it would have been nice if the owners had circulated among customers to introduce themselves, find out where folks were coming from (to help with future marketing), and simply to thank folks for coming in. This did not happen during the time we were there either. We did order lunch and were satisfied with the size of the portions, the freshness of the ingredients, and the overall presentation and taste. Satisfied, but not overwhelmed. The fact that we had to ask for silverware and napkins didn't help the situation either. In addition, I personally thought the draught beer was not as chilled as it should have been, but I admit that's a personal preference. Perhaps chilled glasses should be offered for all draughts and not just selected ones. Now, everyone's approach to running a business can certainly be different, but this experience was underwhelming and fell short of the first impression we hoped for and expected. We sincerely hope things will get better with time and experience. We need a good "pub" in our community and this one has the potential, but it will take more than just watching from the corner of the bar to make it happen. Overall rating: another "average" pub despite the renovations.

We are frequent customers of the Berlin location. However, we decided to check out the new location in Voorhees this weekend. During an afternoon visit, it took them 55 minutes to serve our food after ordering....that was for some chicken wings (only gave us 7 wings even though we ordered 10) a few cheesesteaks (came out wrong) and another sandwich. The food was not good (and tasted different than the same items at the Berlin location). On top of that, the server was ambivalent with customers and never offered refills on drinks or an apology for wait (not during a busy hour). Also, the decor is drab. They just slapped a new coat of paint, some posters and TVs on the walls of an old Friendly's that was the previous tenant. We will never go there again and if I were the owners of Ott's Berlin, I would disassociate themselves from the Voorhees mess ASAP.

My family loves this place! The food is always excellent! We've never had anything we don't like. We have also had private parties there with extremely reasonable prices and great service. You can always watch a game on the televisions there (although that's not why we like it). It's a great bar, but also great for families. I highly recommend it!
