We are locals who have been coming here for nearly seven years. It used to be a lovely place to sit and have a meal with family â no longer. Today there were 1 hour delays on food, only 1 person working the kitchen, abysmal expectation management by staff, and just plain rudeness when we asked for our money back. When you screw up so bad, you apologise to your customers and cop it on the chin. The staff member we dealt with was rude and argumentative, refused to acknowledge or accept any responsibility for the poor experience, and blamed us for not calling ahead. You run a pub and itâs Saturday â any vaguely competent management would ensure there are kitchen staff to deal with the demand.We wonât be coming back ever again. I suggest you save yourself the pain and avoid.

Everywhere else was packed as we entered this little gem they were so welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal with a glass of wine. must remember to come back next visit.

We booked a nights accommodation at Redleaf Resort Blackheath.. with some friends...and weâre so excited when we discovered they have a Smoked Meats and Ribs RestaurantWe love smoked meats... and have tried many Resturantâs offering this style of cuisine.. I must say we were so impressed with the food at The Smoke House Restaurant Absolutely Delicious everything.. from chicken wings to Burgers.. my husband actually enjoyed smoked Brussel sprouts.. and the best smoked ribs we have ever had the pleasure to eat.. Mmmm tender, juicy, full of flavor..mouth watering I ate way too much.. but I could not help myself. This Restaurant is a must..we will now drive from Sydney for our Smoked Food fix.

Our first night in the Mountains and we had the taste for pizza. Delish pizzas have a nice thin crust and good amount of topping. Good garlic bread too!! The meal deals offer value for money.

Stopped at this cafe for a coffee and some sweets and the customer service was AMAZING. Both my partner and I left feeling better for the experience. The coffee, milkshake and home made HUGE muffin were unreal. Definitely recommend !

After having many enjoyable lunches here over the past 15 years we were really disappointed with the service and food quality. We sat at our table for over 5 minutes trying to attract someone to give us a menu before getting up to get one from the person who was supposed to be our host. After deciding what we wanted to order we again failed to attract the attention of the wait staff and went back to the person at the 'service ' desk to ask if someone could take our order. We found this really odd compared with our past experiences here and should have taken this as an omen to leave. The 2 chicken schnitzels we ordered were cremated in the deep fryer and were dry and tasteless. My wife had a Victory breakfast. The bacon was also bunt in some places indicating that it was unceremoniously thrown onto a hot plate without flattening to ensure that it evenly cooked. The accompanying sausage was greasy and tasteless. It looked that new owners have taken over and despite bold claims of 2019 improvements the place looked the same to me but with lousy food. We still enjoyed the antiques part of the complex and got a few bargains.

I came in with some friends on a very busy night, but the staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Michael especially was a standout, as were Vickie and Jeff. The food was generous and well-prepared, the ambience was cosy and intimate, and we left very satisfied. Wonderful desserts!We are very pleased you enjoyed your evening with us. Love the desserts, my favourite is the Strawberry Shortcake which I cannot resist eating far too many!

Inventive, made on the premises, cannot fault. Sorry this is a short review but everything we ordered was extraordinary and the host/owner was wonderful. She made some great wine recommendations and described the dishes and their method of creation in a very articulate way. The multiflavoured (bom) ice-cream slice was incredible. I ate a slow cooked beef main and we shared the most amazing pancake entree. You won't get in here without advance booking for good reason. It walks a perfect line between homestyle and fine dining. Fully licensed with great choices.

This salad was beautiful, mozzarella, roasted Cherry tomatoes, crispy ham, basil and pesto. Don't underestimate the power of simple, traditional, and perfectly temperatured food. Bellasimo. Please order that. $32. My scallop tartare , i wished the scallop itself was highlighted but it was overpowered by seaweed. I wouldn't have used the pink pickled ginger either as it was way too overpowering. Enjoyed my ricotta dumplings, the fish in yoghurt was good too, but I didn't appreciate the macadamia crumb it didn't compliment the texture of the fish. Ambience was great. Service was good. Overall good. Thanks again.
