After being in business for many years, it closed 15 months ago due to a fire. Re-opened at end of March and it is beautifuly re-decorated. Food and service is as good as ( maybe even betterthen) ever. Japenese, chinese, all types of asian food plus take
We have lived in Putnam County for 30 years, and we used to be happy to take the long drive from our house to eat at this restaurant (or get take out). It used to be on a par with Chinese restaurants in Manhattan, with an even better view. However, over the last decade or so, there has been a glaring change where the quality of their food has plummeted. Every few years we tried it again, hoping that it would have come back to its previous standards, but when we dined there again yesterday, it was even more disappointing. There was a complete lack of salt / flavoring on both of our dishes, to the point where the only taste was sweet / syrupy.I don't know if the problem is the inability of the chefs, or that the chefs/management think that they are catering to the lowest-common-denominator tastes of Americans, or that they are buying only cheap quality ingredients - or worse, a combination of the three. I only know that we have given up on them, and will never go again. What a loss to the area!

Fresh Organic and Delicious
This small restaurant in a shopping center truly is a Jewel. I've tired most of their dishes, and have never been disappointed. They have selections for meat eaters and vegetarians, and if you skip the rice, many dishes are keto-friendly. The staff will adjust level of spicing to your taste. I usually ask for medium, which is seasoned enough to be interesting, but not to bring tears. The staff is attentive, but the kitchen does get a bit behind on busy nights. Lunch or an early dinner is both tasty and fast. The restaurant is small, and can not accommodate large groups without a reservation. There is no corking fee for bringing your own wine. Take out is great too.

We stopped to pick up a couple of things and, as usual, were met by a rather surly woman who took our order. We waited almost 20 minutes for soup and dumplings. Really! The place was almost empty, but we could see 7 employees. The music was very loud and the lights flickering gave me a headache. Maybe this time it's really over for me.

We frequent this establishment on a regular basis. On very busy nights the service is alittle strained and the 'show' is like a cliff note, but still enjoyable. The food is always fresh, although they could be a bit more generous with the filet mignon(my favorite), I absolutely love it! We don't eat the shrimp and always ask for more vegetables instead. I don't know if they don't understand what we are asking or just don't listen, as that has yet to happen. No matter, its a fun place to go and the food is good.

Rated Excellent by Zagat every year since 2006 and winner of the Best Westchester County Restaurant in 2013 by UrbanSpoon -Tengda Asian Bistro in Katonah, offers unique flavors of Japanese, Chinese, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnamese cuisine.
While the restaurant is located in a small strip mall, the interior is quite interesting. On the day I visited (just before noon) there were 3 sushi chefs, a good size wait staff and no one else in the restaurant. I did notice, however, that there were a number of take out bags at the register waiting to be picked up.After I placed my order, a number of other people did come in for lunch. The lunch sushi specials offer 2 rolls for $11 or 3 rolls for $14. I chose the spicy crunchy tuna roll and yellowtail avocado roll. Lunch specials come with miso soup which was nothing to rave about and a lettuce only salad with a very good ginger dressing. Each roll came in 6 pieces and both were very good. The restaurant does have a small bar for those who may be interested.A good lunch and waitstaff were very attentive.
