Visited for a birthday celebration and had the set price buffet meal. Great choice of starters, mains and desserts. Don't miss the caramel pork! All the food was hot and very tasty. Staff pleasant and efficient. Offered complimentary Sake but that may be because we were a party of ten. I can recommend this restaurant.

Yes I know it seems strange to come to France and have Chinese food but when you come from a country where Chinese and other Asian foods are very much "normal" sometime you mis the normalities of home.So my wife and I ventured in to Le Shanghai based on just the existing Tripadvisor reviews and we were quite delighted with the result.The restuarant is indeed run by a Husband and Wife team and they seem to have it all covered. Mind you the night we were there patronage was very light.The Husband seems to speak and understand English quite well and they have a menu written in reasonably pasable English also.Food was very good but portions are smallish, so for 2 people without entree I would suggest 3 mains and rice. Having said that I also feel that the size of the dishes is reflected in the prices as mains we felt were reasonably priced per portion size.So, if in need of something different, Le Shanghai is worth a visit.

Family visit for our first Chinese since moving to France. Absolutely brilliant - lovely staff, nice place and best of all the food was just excellent. We love Chinese anyway but this place was just so good and lots of variety for everybody. We will be going back.

This place is a real breath of fresh air. An oriental restaurant that actually serves food with spices. My wife and I were hugely impressed with our meal:Starters: what was advertised as prawn nems, but turned out to be large king prawns wrapped in filo pastry and deep fried for me and chicken satay for her.We also couldn't resist some tho kha ghai to share, which was amazing.Mains: Chicken red thai curry with rice for me, pad thai for her.All of it just bursting with flavour, served by a friendly and efficient waiter. The place is a little tucked away beside St Peter's church, but it is a pleasant little place. Hugely recommend.

Good food, in particular the cold pancake rolls (hot are available). Lots of choice and was popular with locals. Being keen on Japanese food we decided to give this restaurant a go. Unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. The decor is a bit tired. The service was okay and with a smile, always important. The food, however, was disappointing. We wouldn't come again.
