This was the surprise of the day. On our 3 week cycling tour from Belgium to Bordeaux we entered Rochefort at about noon looking for something to eat and stumbled on this gem. It only offers the buffet lunch at 13.5⬠including a clod start buffet with sushi, wontons and other asia delights, followed by a warm buffet with noodles fried shrimp, sweet and sour porc etc and the option - complementary - of wok on request. To finish a dessert buffet. For us, this was one of our best lunches on the whoe trip.

Nous étions trois à dîner ce soir là . Pour débuter, un rouleau de printemps gigantesque mais sans gout et garni surtout ... de carottes rappées. En suite nos trois plats, bien que différents, baignaient dans la même sauce sans saveur à la consistance étrange. La mienne était censée être épicée, elle était d'une platitude extrême. Un beignet à la banane pour conclure, énorme lui aussi, mais pas désagréable.

Quite small and only seats 36 people. Make a point of finding it. Friendly staff, good food reasonable prices. We have been using it for annual visits for some years now and the quality and welcome you get still draws us back. Favourite dish? Porc au Caramel.

Le service est très souriant (et avec une pointe d'humour), les plats sont des classiques revisités : très bonnes associations de saveurs.Les prix corrects pour la qualité.Une bonne adresse.

Malheureusement ns n'avons pas pu savourer autant qu'on l'aurait souhaité car notre timing était trop serré ! Néanmoins, le menu enfant est correct (attention quand même si vos enfants n'aiment pas le sucré-salé, ne prenez pas les brochettes de poulet).Pour moi ct des nouilles, copieuses et goûteuses. Pour mon mari, du canard à l'ananas très bon.Mention spéciale pour le sourire des patrons (qui est rare dans ce type de restaurant).La carte est très fournie donc à refaire pour goûter d'autres spécialités. Attention ce n'est pas un buffet à volonté !!

This little restaurant on a city street has great food and nice folks to serve you. When I can get a delicious meal that is also gluten free, I'm all for it. Reservations are a good idea.

Based on the reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try and we now understand the reason it has so many fabulous reviews. The food was authentic, similar to what we have eaten in Thailand and Vietnam and we particularly liked the ambiance with the owners small children rating their dinner at a table nearby. Such adorable children and so well behaved.We plan to visit again the next time we are in Rochefort.....

Not many restaurants are open in Rochefort on a Monday evening so it was great to end up here for a really enjoyable meal. The menu is Thai-ish, with a bit of Vietnamese etc. for good measure but it was all very fresh and delicious. We enjoy asian food of all kinds and have eaten it in many places but have to say this is really up with the best. An excellent find, a little gem that we would never have found without Tripadvisor. Thanks!
