A very unremarkable Chinese place with unremarkable food..... the hostesses donât really greet you, they acknowledge you after getting off the phone and tending to other things..... great vibe and first impression!Egg rolls were very good..... and it was downhill thereafter. Pot stickers were doughy, and our three mains werenât much better. The best of the lot was the Mongolian beef, but the meat quality was eh.... the two chicken dishes were nearly identical, orange chicken and governors chicken. Both had deep fried overly breaded chicken bits with the same veggies except the orange jam on one.We were guests for this meal and I wouldnât rush back.....I also admit, I couldnât send you to a better Chinese place nearby.... Thai yes, Chinese sadly no....

My family and I were in the area and needed a place for dinner. Reviews for this restaurant were good, so we gave it a try. There was only 1 woman serving the entire dining room but she did it with efficiency of not a smile. While we were there we noticed many "regulars" with kids and were felt relieved. In fact, the server accommodated our request for a 1/2 portion of chicken katsu at half of the regular price. Much appreciated! The sushi was authentic as was the miso soup and ginger dressing on the salad. Recommended!

Rather small inside but still a fair number of tables for such a small interior. I have seen them completely fill up during a really busy lunch rush. They also fill a large number of takeout orders. The owner is absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about her. No matter how hectic things get, she keeps a smile on her face and is always scurrying around making sure everybody is well taken care of. It is very rare to see such excellent service... and her English is great too. The food? Wonderful! I have not experienced a bad meal there. The chop suey and orange chicken dishes are highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable too. In fact, a little on the low side in my honest opinion. Do not be put off by the low number of reviews for this restaurant. They have been around for a long time and, judging by the brisk business they get, there are many locals who know about the fantastic food and service at Bin Hai.

Two of us for dinner. Tonight our selections were the tofu market with rice noodles and the Mongolian beef entrée. Both were delicious.

We eat Thai food everywhere and this little place did not disappoint. The tom Kha soup was incredible. My daughter got the pad thai and was very impressed. My husband's massaman was the best he's had. I would highly recommend this place.

We had an incredible family dinner on a cold winter night at Kamehachi Restaurant in Northbrook. This is a first class Japanese restaurant. Server Peter offered superb service. Several guests ordered salmon teriyaki. Unlike other restaurants that smother offerings in salty teriyaki sauce, Kamehachi served a delicious course that was cooked and seasoned to perfection.

To be fair to the servers, it seemed that there were glitches. We received a deal via e-mail and it did not work at first. Servers seemed somewhat listless and unsmiling, although relatively congenial. The food was delicious and the drink was as well and the final check was lower than expected. I just got the impression that all was not right at P.F. Changâs and I think that with a little fine tuning and smiles, it could be perfect.

I just returned from visiting Blufish Sushi Bistro after a long absence. I was delighted to see that they have enlarged and expanded their restaurant considerably.The new place is far roomier and more spacious, as well as being more attractive.The food was just excellent. The menu is quite extensive. There are plenty of interesting options on the menu. Our waitress was efficient,courteous and quite charming. We were served quickly.

This is the best restaurant between Chicago and Milwaukee. Weâve been guests monthly for almost 10 years. Have tried just about everything on the menu ... never disappointed. The NOLA items are a treat (if you want to experiment, just try the Shot of Gumbo). Seasonally have Soft Shell Crabs, try them tempura style. Shrimp and Grits best Iâve had outside South Carolina. The tuna, either as appetizer or entree, is fresh and satisfying. Iâve had the steak, but Iâm not particularly a steak guy, so didnât think it was as special as the other entrees Iâve had. Weâve visited as a couple, and as family group of a dozen ... service is always, consistently outstanding. BBQ and sandwiches are top notch. Not a beer guy, but there is a large selection of domestic and imported brews. You will not be disappointed.Thank you so much for all your kind words! We're so happy to hear you've enjoyed your experience with us time and time again! We look forward to the next time!
