There are many restaurants in Mellieha serving very similar dishes, albeit varying in quality. For something different you must try Amami. Amazing setting, tasty food and great service, at a very reasonable price. Such a refreshing change to have a restaurant like this amongst the usual fish/steak/rabbit serving places in the town. Situated on the roof terrace of a hotel, Antonine Al Fresco has an enviable spot. You look out on to Mellieha's beautiful cathedral and over to the bay which is spectacular. To start, I had the tempura vegetables which were amazing. A colourful mix of vegetables in a light and crisp tempura batter, it tasted fresh and delicious.I followed this with a wonderful vegetable red thai curry. It had just the right level of heat and contained a nice mix of fresh vegetables, making a warming dish. This all surrounded by the most amazing views in town.The service was attentive and helpful and probably amongst the best we experienced in Malta.We had a lovely meal here with some delicious and authentic Thai food, which also made a nice change to all of the Mediterranean restaurants around. If you fancy something a bit different while you are in Malta and don't mind heights, this place is excellent.

This is a well used restaurant on the Main Street In Mellieha. We had used it on previous visits but not for some time. We were not disappointed. The food was good, the portions sensible and it was good to see the locals using it as well. We wonât leave it as long before returning for another visit.

Returned for birthday meal and it was very special.Everybody had different courses I had trio of lamb ,superb. Great selections of fine wines and very friendly.

Perhaps my favourite restaurant at the Sea bank,the food was excellent great variety well presented with a lovely ambience because of the soft lighting the staff were very polite and helpful and you can see the chefs preparing the food.
