We went after reading the glowing reviews but, sadly, disappointed doesn't begin to describe our experience. I ordered veal Cordon Bleu and my wife chose spaghetti bolognaise. The "veal" if that's what it was, which I seriously doubt, was tough to the point of being inedible. The breadcrumb (ruskoline) coating was all but burnt and the veg were an insult to good taste. My wife's "bolognaise" was like none we've ever had, basically a tomato sauce that may have had a teaspoon of indeterminate minced meat shown to it. When we returned the mostly uneaten dishes we were offered apologies and only had to pay half the bill. Yes, HALF the bill for having suffered a fraction of the meal! Go at your own risk.

Dinner was delicious! We had the best garlic bread we have ever had anywhere. We both had pasta for dinner which was great. The atmosphere is romantic and very comfortable and the service was great. We stayed at the Golden Sands and there was free transportation to and from. We had a great meal and experience. You won't want to miss this restaurant.

We had an enjoyable and tasty meal here on 21st August 2019. My daughter enjoyed fresh calamari, my wife had octopus and I tried the traditional bragioli. All the meals were well cooked and tasty served with local vegetables. A little more expensive than other restaurants in the area and the menu had a slightly dated (1970s) feel about it and the service was not hurried but slightly slow. Worth trying all the same.

have been going to this bar long before the current owners always a nice friendly atmosphere not any more can't get to bar for people sat in the way staff only like to serve the regulars .This is not the first time this has been the case but it will be the last won't be going again which is a shame as it used to be a lovely place but all good things come to an end especially when the customer is not valued my money can be spent anywhere .Im sorry to hear this but for us all clients are the same and we try to serve all of our clients the best possible.What was the date of visit pls?ThanksOwner

We sat outside on a warm late September evening where we ate great food just off a beautiful little square in Mellieha village. Our group spent most of the evening dining at the restaurant, so service speed was not important to us. All the staff were friendly and the food quality excellent. Top end pricing, however you do get what you pay for! Recommended and I will return next time Iâm in Malta.5* recommendation.

Amazing food and all ingredients are top quality and fresh. I tried the fish soup and Lampuki and was blown away. The owner himself gives you personal attention and you wouldn't be disappointed. He even picks you from from your hotel for FREE! Great business and I wish him all the best.

Would highly recommend the Ocean Bar.This is an amazing little restaurant, the service is just outstanding, and hospitality is fantastic.The meals are huge portions and great value for the prices too.Few times we used the Ocean Bar, and each time we got an excellent service.Compliments to the chef and to the waitress as they both worked very hard and to provide a excellent service for there customers.If any one goes out for meal go to the ocean bar well worth it....

Another big e for excellent for both food and service. Little wonder that it was fully booked on the night of our visit and as many people without a booking were turned away as the number in the restaurant. Not the biggest of menus but this was definitely a case of quality over quantity.
