We chose this restaurant in part because of reviews in TripAdvisor and because how close it was to our VRBO rental. The staff is very friendly and were over seen by either the manager or the owner. They were attentive and polite. The sushi is very good here and we tried both the Nigiri and the Maki rolls. The wine list also featured quite a good selection of wines that complimented the fish. On top of the great service, the Sushi was expertly made and was made quickly, something you don't always find in Sushi restaurants. Highly Recommended!

New Contemporary Chinese Restaurant in beautiful Healdsburg (Sonoma County Wine Country) opened May 2016. A hidden gem located in The Vineyard Plaza. Residing neighbors are Safeway and The Dollar Tree. A short distance from the Plaza/downtown Healdsburg.

My husband and I had a perfectly delightful dinner at 8 Dragons tonight. Although it's located in a shopping center in Healdsburg, we were able to have lovely sidewalk dinner. The service was wonderful from the very beginning, and continued that way throughout. And the dishes we had were extremely fresh and delicious. The wine was great. As a life-long vegetarian, I can honestly say that the tofu with vegetable dish we ordered was one of the best I've ever tasted! And as we were finishing our meal, Gina and Chris, the owners, came over and introduced themselves to us. They mentioned that they will always customize dishes to meet dietary needs -- which for us is BIG. They personally thanked us for coming and invited us back. We were totally surprised at how much we enjoyed the entire experience -- and the price was right! Having just moved to Healdsburg from San Francisco, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a mellow, wonderful service experience, with a great wine list, reasonable prices, a flexible menu and fresh and authentic food. What else can you ask for. This is truly a service experience that you deserve!

Last night my wife and I wanted Asian food. We had not eaten at the Thai Orchid Cuisine in at least a year. We have preferred to drive to Windsor for another restaurant but tonight was different.When we walked in at 7PM we were a little concerned in that no one else was eating in the restaurant. We gave it a chance anyway. We had three dishes that were all good but not great.Our first dish was the Tom-Jued Soup. It was tasty and hot but could have included more chicken and shrimp. Before we were even close to done with our soup they brought out the other two dishes we had ordered. It would have been nice if they had waited for us to finish our soup before bringing out the entrees.The Pad-Kee-Mow dish was ordered with pork and was tasty but not at all spicy. I should have known to tell them that we really like spicy to be spicy. The other dish was also not spicy as indicated on the menu.Although not wonderful the food was good and the cost moderate. We will return.
