First time patron but it won't be the last. We had excellent meals accompanied by attentive service. The interior is not lavish but a step above the usual sparse Asian cuisine offerings. The staff was prompt, courteous and able to explain menu options with real conviction. We were there mid week and they were more than half full by the time we finished.We almost exclusively ordered the specials, soft shell crab, and pork for entree and a salad for an appetizer. My appetizer was duck salad, a classic offering, that was well prepared. Sufficiently diced vegetables, greens and duck made eating them with chopsticks easily done. My wife's mango avocado salad was also a special and it was excellent. The sauces were light and tasty making perfect compliments to the dishes. A bronzino with mango salsa was on the menu and when served to another table made a great presentation.I see no problem with pricing as the food was fresh and of excellent quality. Our intention to return for further dining should validate the posted rating. BYOB

we had spring rolls, and steamed dumplings to start, that were tasty, and fresh.then crispy duck, that was great, followed by their signature warm carrot, and coconut icecream.service was friendly, and efficient.atmosphere busy, and relaxed.will return.highly recommended.

This was our first visit to Takuma but it will not be the last. Interesting menu--not extensive, but quality. My wife and I enjoyed our meals, service was good. I really liked the atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge as they are competing with commuters adjacent to the train station. Location is central, however. Also, note that you must bring your own wine or beer.

We have been going to the Bean Curd for over a year now. Dine in or take out are options. Fast service and quality meal at very reasonable prices. We have never had a bad meal there. Definitely worth a try for any folks that haven't eaten there yet.

I order in to office great deals on superb choice from 11am and also come here until 1030pm when I want to entertain hest and familt because the special rolls. There were several plates with fresh fish as yellowtail sashimi so tantalizing yet light and satisfying. The other week I had Japanese guests who are so picky, v critical of NJ sushi place, gave it high marks.

Drive by this place so many times. After a local movie, denied to try. WOW nice surprise! Decor was pleasant and food was outstanding!! Excellent appetizers including gyoza and chicken satay. My husband had thai food, as I went of the sushi. Both were amazing. He had the chicken basil, so much chicken and very filling. I had some rolls and sashimi. Very very. We both enjoyed the brown rice, which was super tasty. Don't drive by, stop in and enjoy you won't regret it!!

we had a lovely meal at this local Thai hot spot.spring rolls, chicken soup, followed by spicy duck, green beef curry, special fried rice, and noodles, and rice, followed by green tea ice cream.the service was friendly, and efficient. and the atmosphere relaxed.will return.highly recommend.

It was opened on Christmas Day! Loads of people in the restaurant...fresh sashimi, sushi, tempura, chicken and beef teriyaki. Seafood platter and many sushi type rolls. Its delicious and yum! Place has a sushi bar and sittings not too large an area. One needs reservations. Price is mid to high range, dependent on the quality of food ordered.

The menu is very large and complicated if you are not familiar with all kinds of asian foods. Sadly, our server, from Central America, really couldn't give us the kind of information we needed to make an educated choice, so some of our entrees were disappointing--because they were not what was expected. In addition, they refused to serve a side of noodles, instead of white rice, when they clearly have noodles available since there are dishes made with noodles. Poor customer service, in my opinion. Otherwise, nice decor, reasonable prices, nicely prepared food, pretty good value for money.

First visit to this restaurant on a special Jazz night. Two sets, house was full because it is not very large. Food was above average, expensive for Chinese cuisine, but no cover and no minimum for the set of jazz by well established performers. Nice to enjoy jazz so close to home without hassle.
