The gasoline prices are competitive and the sandwiches are pretty good. And there's a convenience store as well.

Great stop near to the north entrance of Joshua tree NP! We order smoothie - lily of the desert. Refreshing with a lot of ice. Soup of the day made of roasted peppers with smoked gouda was delicious.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Denny's food normally lives up to its good reputation but positive energy of the staff makes the experience pleasant. We found our early morning meal well cooked and served. Our waiter was attentive in coming round after the initial service and continued to be patient in serving more coffee after our meal. His kindness was appreciated

A Casual Southern Bistro offering a diverse menu with an emphasis on "Southern" Located in Downtown Twentynine Palms Califonia Great Food! Great Service! Great Place!
I read somewhere that Bistro 29 changed hands recently. Evidently they kept the name, but changed the concept. Offerings of gumbo, fried catfish, sweet potato casserole and other home-cooking items did not fit the name. That said, the catfish was fried perfectly-crisp outside and moist inside. Husband enjoyed the red beans and rice and coleslaw sides and i liked the collard greens and sweet potatoes. No bread was served with the meal. Iced tea was very good. It was very quiet on a Tuesday evening, and service was good and attentive. I've read that it gets hectic on Friday Karaoke night. Plenty of parking in the back. Owned by an ex-Marine and his wife.

Stopped by after Joshua Tree Natl Park, hungry and thirsty. Wait staff was friendly and very helpful explaining the special burgers. Decided on the Ortega Burger which was truly delicious. Refills on sodas came quickly and without request. Would stop here again if ever in town.

Gourmet Burger and Sandwich restaurant with a Caribbean twist. Located in an artistic complex in Twentynine Palms. Across the street from the easter entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
We searched for a restaurant to celebrate my husbandâs birthday while camping in the desert for spring break visiting Joshua Tree. We werenât sure what to expect from Twentynine Palmsâ restaurants. We chose four from Trip Advisor and drove around to look at them. Kitchen in the Desert was off the main road and in an area I would describe as âup and comingâ maybe. At first glance the place looks questionable. However, you quickly realize that is by design and the place is desert rustic-and adorable!! We went on a Friday night. I made a reservation unsure if I should, but the place was full so I was glad I did. The menu was creative. The food was fabulous. We had meat eaters and vegetarians in our group and all were happy. They were currently not serving alcohol so if that matters to you, bring your own. OR, walk to the Mobil station on the corner as they suggested, and buy wine there. Itâs a Mobil station/ liquor store and bar!

We came here on recommendation and were not disappointed great service and home cooked food with some produce straight from their garden ( peaches in my sauce with my pork) As you expect the service was first class, we tried the local beer and were not disappointed.Thank you so much for your visit and review. We're thrilled to know you were not disappointed with your experience at the Inn. We're so happy the staff made you feel welcomed and the food was up to par. Please come back again soon.Sincerely, the 29 Palms Inn

This was our second visit to The Rib Co in the last three days. On both occasions the food was outstanding, however on the second occasion the service was the worst Iâve ever experienced in more than 40yrs visiting the US. We were told to take a table outside, then told we wouldnât be served! We only ordered one main and it took two hours. Our table wasnât wiped down. They ran out of clean wine glasses. They ran out of Pinot Grigio. Jennifer, the manager, was downright rude to us. My wife and I were very troubled by the whole experience, particularly Jenniferâs attitude.
