This is a great place to mess up as much as you want to enjoy good seafood in a casual atmosphere overlooking the sea. The only downside is that, after you mess up like you're supposed to, there is no place to wash your messy hands other than the tiny restroom. If there is one outdoor faucet just for washing hands, the restroom queue would be much shorter. Great way to spend your day, regardless.ああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああ

One of the best deli sandwiches I've ever had. I got the NY style reuban and it was loaded mile high with pastrami and corn beef. The potato salad I got with it was to die for, and definitely the best potato salad I've had. Bring your appetite, the portions are huge! They have a decent beer selection, a light lager pairs really well with the sandwich. The staff here are friendly and attentive. The only down side was it was very hot and uncomfortable inside, felt like no air conditioning.

The breakfast of bacon and eggs and pancakes makes you feel right at home in grandmas kitchen. Low key spot. Old school breakfast and right in the pier where you can see a multitude of marine life. Seals, birds, fish, pelicans. There are a few fisherman casting a line into the ocean. Great place. The service is good. It was super busy so it’s better to get there a little earlier or maybe later.

We went as a Family with young grandchildren TWICE in one month for breakfast on both occasions. The "outside covered space" is ideal for a large family group. Large portions abound, good quality. Service is friendly and usually very efficient, except when slightly overwhelmed by demand on busy Sat. mornings.Pies and Puds. look very inviting.

Came to this place based on a Google recommendation. Google described it as a “bustling diner” and it certainly lives up to its name. Although there were several patrons waiting outside, we waited about ten minutes after listing ourselves. They have two seating types: one is communal (long bench, similar to a school cafeteria) and the other is standard table and chairs. I didn’t mind the communal seating. Service is top-notch. Everyone we encountered was friendly including our server, host and even the cashier. I ordered the John Wayne special. It consists of a tortilla, home fries, cut up sausage patties, two eggs (done over easy) and a “Spanish” sauce. It’s not the most appealing of looking dishes, but hearty. Frankly, I found the food at Ruby’s to be more memorable. I really enjoyed the coffee, though. You’ll certainly get value for your meal. Portions are large and it’s not too expensive. The John Wayne special only cost $9.99. While this concept is great, it’s food for the masses and Joe’s doesn’t really deliver on quality ingredients. Another reason I took off a dot is because of all the styrofoam and plastic this place uses. Thank you for coming by to check us out and for taking the time to share your honest thoughts. I'm glad to hear that you had top-notch service and that you enjoyed the JW special and coffee. I appreciate your feedback about the Styrofoam as well. We are working to be better about that. Hope to have you back for a more memorable experience next time! Sincerely, Alex

Black Angus Steakhouse - Torrance

Reviewed By WorldH

I dined here on a visit to LA area after remembering fondly a Black Angus in the Phoenix area. I had a steak, au gratin potatoes and green beans. The steak was okay, no real complaints with it. The side items I found to be rather bland and disappointing. The server was friendly but inattentive; I would have liked another drink but she never returned to check on me. It was early in the dinner period and not busy, so no excuse there. So three stars sounds right: nothing special, probably would not bother to dine at this location again. We appreciate you visiting again, but it's disappointing that you didn't have a five-star visit. An opportunity to speak with you more in-depth about this experience would be appreciated, so please send an email to [email protected] including your phone number and a copy of this review. Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ

We had a group of 8 with me that day. We arrived around 7:30 pm and waited about 30 minutes to get seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was high traffic. The reception host was very attentive. Once seated, we were served their warm freshly baked biscuits and spread. The biscuits are “to die for”. We order the “Family Supper” which comes with 2 choices of main entrees and 4 sides. It serves 12 persons so we had plenty to take home =). We chose the BBQ Chicken and Ribs. The chicken and ribs were tender and moist. Wait we also order 3 appetizers: Nacho Spinach Dip, Deep fried onions, and Nacho Cheese Dip. I would highly recommend the spinach dip and deep fried onions. I would pass on the cheese dip. As part Family supper, it came with 4 choices of sides. We chose mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, and pulled pork fries. All of the sides were served in half size dish. I would highly recommend Lucille’s as a place to go for the family.

"Dog Friendly" restaurant. But lately it seems people just bring their dogs everywhere anyway? Has a nice Outdoor Patio and Full Bar. Enjoyed feeling the slightly cooler breeze coming off the coast while sitting in the patio.Shared the Beef Dip sandwich with a friend who paid extra to switch the side dish to Onion Rings. I'm usually ambivalent about onion rings, as they are too often too thickly dipped, battered and fried. But these were deliciousness! Lightly battered, and the sandwich was good too.

We were served nice large shrimp and a good thick cut of prime rib plus salad and bake potato. Very tasty! We plan on going back soon.

We were really pleased to have chosen this great establishment from the many eateries and pubs around Redondo Beach. It is a gem of a place with brilliant staff, great food and drink at very reasonable prices in a fantastic location. The menu which includes many healthy options, would surely please even the lost selective of diners while there was a wide variety of beers, wines and cocktails to choose from. Looking at the entertainment for the week there appeared to be plenty to please every night and I would hope that this superb pub thrives in the future as I will certainly make an effort to return if I am fortunate to find myself in the area again.
